In terms of people making mistakes before shipping, how about you not hit confirm shipping until you put the damn game in the mail? The guy deserves a negative if he prints out a label and hits confirm as soon as he does this. That's not shipping, that's printing out a label. Don't hit "confirm shipping" till its in the mailbox/PO/post man's hand. Let that be a lesson to him.

Try to leave that and you will be guilty of feedback abuse

If the guy posts the game/movie as an incorrect format, then tries to cancel cause of it, then yes, it would be a negative if he did send it. If he didn't send it, its still a negative for not recieving. I was referring to the post you quoted multiple times saying that someone should be allowed to make a mistake. That's a mistake that should not be let go just cause the user was in a rush to hit confirm shipment.

That would be my bad. I misread your post. I just read this part "The guy deserves a negative if he prints out a label and hits confirm as soon as he does this." Last time I reply on Goozex forums while on the phone. xD
Could you maybe like for long-time users still get our points up-front after confirmation, and only use this restriction on users with 5-10 trades?
Is the cancel trade gone after you confirm ship it?
....Goddamn I hate this change!
Why would you need to cancel a trade after you confirm it?
Sounds more than fair. It's unfortunate things have to be done like this, but it's necessary because of the few bad seeds that ruin it for the rest of us. I completely think this was the best move on the part of goozex.
so if they cancel trade they still got the points? that don't sound right.
new way sound more fool proof
Agreed. This scenario happend to me as a buyer the other day. It took over ten days from when the seller claimed to have sent the game (from MI to VA). Meanwhile, I sent a game from VA to HI in three days. I would've liked the above option. In the end, I gave the seller positive feedback because the game itself was in good shape. However, I felt lied to about when the game was actually shipped. I would've liked an option to reprimand the seller.
I'm always in favor of tigher controls because I conduct myself with honesty and integrity on this site. The rules would never (or at least very rarely) adversely affect me. They would target those who abuse the system.

Regarding this post:
"I like this new change, although it still needs some teeth to be able to reprimand someone for clicking "confirmed" and still waiting 5-10 days to ship it out. Is it possible to now implement a rule to allow buyers to give a neutral if it's confirmed shipped put postmarked 2+days thereafter?"
I had someone accept and confirm ship immediately yesterday. Doesn't bother me, since they can't even attempt to cancel the trade now. And if it makes it to dispute, they will be stuck with a negative.
I accepted a trade, printed out the label, and put it in a mailbox last night. On the way home I logged into Goozex on my iPhone and confirmed it.
It might look fishy for the buyer, but some confirmations are pretty fast. For those who confirm right away but haven't actually shipped the game, they have significantly fewer options since they can't cancel. I'd imagine they only eat a negative once before they do what the system intends.

This was from Canada though. I don't think I'm mistaken, but I believe they have to go to their post office just like we do to ship internationally. I don't confirm shipment on Canada trades until I am getting ready to leave the house, at which time I provide the customs form # (Got a stack of custom forms at home).

When I ship to the US I use paypal shipping which means within 10 minutes of accepting I can have the game dropped off in a drop box so I can ship games any time of the day.
