I was wondering this. I had a seller cancel on me this morning without needing my approval. Not mad at the guy, just was wondering when this cancellation process without a buyer's approval began again.

I would have stiffed him with the negative to prove a point. To many people do this and it needs to stop and they wont until they finally get punished for it. Why hit him with a negative? The guy realized his mistake and initiated a cancel to make things right. He could've sent it and had a whole dispute process started.

Because how does one go about paying for shipment already with DC and not realize it's the wrong movie before doing that. You should check to make sure everything is in check IE right product, all items included (if full package) BEFORE you pay for shipment with DC.
If you do that check first you would not have to cancel after hitting confirm for ship.

Each situation is different. I really don't know what I would do in some of these situations. I have an idea of what I'd do, but if it were to happen I don't know if I would.

Goozex could always do a Timeout Period. Say for instance, it usually takes someone up to a half hour to ship the product. So the shipment can't be confirmed until 30 mins after the trade was accepted.
Well I just approved my first batch of games without getting points. Not a big deal, but can't you make an exception for 1 year+ old users with 100+ positives and good rep? Just to make our trading move more smoothly.

I wondered about that because i just had someone confirm they were shipping the game and then saying that it was stolen. It seemed shady but i didn't want to raise hell because i know crap like that does happen. Who would i ask to look into this to see if they guy i was trading with has been doing it allot?

You can look at there trading history and it will tell you the number of times they asked the other trader for a cancel request. But if they comfrimed ship i would give no forgivness for something like that. You are not to maked as shiped untill it is.

and i would send my stuff to someone without a good trading history why under this deal. ill never send a new user a game....nice job...they must be getting fucked over some how...im sure customer service isnt an issue...they are going to chase thier best customers.....oh well back to ebay
Just another small step to persued everyone to be more honest and maybe make those abusers think twice about doing it. I still feel like that this should not have to be done but for those of us who use this site the way it was meant to be used then this should be no problem at all.
and what happens when you send a 1000pt game to someone and get jobbed on feedback or it takes weeks to get your pts, and some other hassle......way to screw up a good thing. using my pts and going elsewhere good luck all.
