How do we know the games we are getting when trading are in near mint condition? I bought games from ebay in the past and the disc was scratched bad.

This is a USED game trading site. There's no "near mint" guarantee. You're guaranteed to get a game that works , that's all. The goozex guarantee only applies if you don't get your game at all or if it doesn't work, not if it's a little beat up. If it's a little scratched but it plays, thats ok. If it's scratched to the poitn where it doesnt play, that's not.

goozex's bases condition solely on whether or not the game works or not. goozex is for gamers not really collectors.
All that has been said so far is true. As long as it works it is a good trade in Goozex's eyes. Even if the disk looked liked it was just used to pave the driveway.
In my hundreds of trades I have had maybe 2 that have been scratched badly. So don; think you will get a boatload of scratched games either.

Goozex users can do anything. I once requested Entourage Season 1 and the copy I got was brand new and had never been opened. You just have to take that chance. Plus, if you're game doesn't work, you don't lose anything in the long run.

This is very true. I've sent out 7 brand new, unopened games out of the 50 games total. (all were flips)
EDIT: I've also received 3 new games.

I'm another person who is borderline OCD with keeping his games in pristine condition. Unfortunately, that can't be said of everyone else and Goozex isn't made up of all adult gamers (who tend to take better care of their games) You gotta roll with the punches. Of the 83 games I've recieved from Goozex, none were unplayable, a couple had a notable scratch or two and the rest were in like-new condition.
One of the first games I got from Goozex was brand new, and it was only 100 points (PS2 Gottlieb Pinball Treasures or something like that). Surprised the heck out of me.
Although FWIW I do have one or two brand new PS2 games that I got for $5 at Circuit City years ago during a blowout sale and never opened, and they're on my Offers list. So I may end up sending out a new product one day too.
