what is better to buy 360 elite or ps3

I definately suggest the MW2 bundle.  I am actually upgrading my premium first gen 20 gig HD 360 to this on release, cause 20 gigs is just not enough for me, and I fear 120 will not be either since I have so many XBL arcade and rock band/GH data.  So 250 gigs, free MW2, 2 controllers, great deal for 100 dollars more.

It's also worth noting that if you decide to go the 360 route and have wireless internet, you will need to purchase a wireless adapter, which tacks on an extra $60 used, $100 new.

Also, depending on your gaming preference, it could sway you one way or another on which console to buy. Someone else mentioned some good PS3 shooters with great multiplayer capabilites, but the 360 has a great backlog of RPG games that the PS3 doesn't offer.

I had a 360....make that three of them.  Although they were able to all be replaced, it was a pain in the butt I didn't want to have to deal with whenever my 360 died.  My original SNES still works for crying out loud. 

My personal preference is the PS3.  Couldn't be happier with it.  The online aspect isn't as good IMO, but it's free and I prefer to play single player games anyway on my consoles.  I keep the multiplayer games for my PC.

As much as I can relate with buyer's remorse in general (maybe it is because I am a girl, or maybe it is because I waste money), it is dangerous and, IMO, downright silly to inquire about which system is deemed "better" AFTER already having bought yourself a system.  What do you intend to do if you realize you would prefer to have a PS3?  Go back to where you bought it and explain that the 360 is simply an inferior system, and that you'd like to trade-up? 

As far as my vote is concerned, I'd say 360, mostly because I own one.  Though I am considering buying a PS3 this Xmas.

I guess the sarcasm in my statement was missed.....I in no way think halo is a good series. That being said, please explain this "fineart" concept. I've owned my ps3 for a logn time and hardly consider it art

infamous, Demon's Soul, MLB the show, Ratchet & CLank, Warhawk, some might say folklore and Valkyria Chronicles (mafafu). You forgot those

NINJA EDIT: not trying to fan the flames, im just saying those are all good exclusives. 360 has its own good ones, I for one just think that ps3 has better ones as of today.

Like what? Aside from Little Big Planet, Uncharted and MGS4, PS3 exclusives that were truly outstanding are not exactly thick on the ground. Most of the big exclusives Sony promised would blow us away ended up sucking ass like Haze.

What about Lair, Untold Legends, Socom:Confrontation and Genji: Days of The Blade. Instant classics!

Exclusives is a moot battle, its all opinion based on the games. Everyone has good games, everyone has bad games. Excluding the Wii of coarse, we're talking about video game consoles.
