Good point. I assume it's for grunts and groans during battle sequences? Seems kind of pointless.

The character does talk very minimally through out the games, usually not in cut scenes.

I have to say once I figured out how to set the AI to heal itself and how to make my own healing potions this game got about 30x better for me. Of course it probably would have helped to read the instructions too!

Games come with instructions?  I should look into this... all I ever see is the disc.

dragon age is a single player game...no multiplayer. pc is the best choice...and according to reviews xbox has the lowest rating because of graphics. i have the pc version and it is fantastic.

Agreed it is fantastic, although I have noticed some clipping in places. I mean it doesn't ruin the experience but it's noticeable enough to make me wish it was fixed. Other than it looks good and plays great!

I love how in trying to one quest it leads into another and yet another until you forget which quest you were initially trying to do. Trying to make a good party is kind of difficult too. Does anyone know if players not in your party level up too? Or do they just stay at the level you recruited them in at?

In Mass Effect, the players tended to level up with you. I don't know about this game though. I can check the Strat guide if I remember tonight.

Also, I doubt it, but can the blood be turned off?  It would be helpful as then I can play while the kids are up with headphones.  Otherwise I hear "whats all that red stuff?"  The "Koolaid" answer does not work anymore...

I got the e-mail Monday night that it shipped, but it more than likely didn't go out till Tuesday morning.  That means I should get it around Wednesday night or Thursday morning. 

I am really curious on how the credit shows up.  They say it will be placed directly into my Amazon account.  Does this mean I wont get a code in my email like normal?  I have never recieved a credit towards a future video game purchase from Amazon before.

Gah... of all the games this season to lose out on a good spot in the queue for...  the 360 version came out a day early on Muze, and the new Goozex pop-up system kind of messed me up trying to request the PS3 version.  Kind of off-topic, but does anyone know if there's a way to have Goozex pop up a seperate window when you are requesting games on release-eve like it used to, instead of this new pop-up that isn't a seperate window and greys out the rest of the screen?

You can open the new screens up in seperate tabs and windows and keep refreshing. Or use the watch list.
