Just saw some gameplay footage of this on youtube and realized that my posiition in line from last night (Very Long wait status) was enough to push me to visiting Ebay and then Amazon to purchase it new.  I have never bought a new game on release week full price until now because me cheap  

I hope its as good as it looks from the footage I watched or I will be very very angry.

I'm still really torn on the 360 vs. PC thing. Gamespot gave the PC version 9.5 and the 360 version 8.5, saying that the console versions have really unimpressive graphics.

But I really like the idea of sitting on my couch, wrapped in a blanket, playing this on a 47" screen.

This was my thinking. I just want to relax on my couch. I find it hard to force myself to play games on my PC now. I need to really move my PC to my man-cave, so I can play on the couch. xD

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I spend all day at a computer. I can't bring myself to spend my evenings and weekends there, too.

I'd probably pick this up tonight...if I wasn't so excited for MW2. Just have to finish up a couple of things in the Uncharted 2 singleplayer and I'll be ready to rock the next couple of months in MW2.

So..sorry Dragon Age; sorry Assassin's Creed 2; and sorry Uncharted 2 multiplayer....Modern Warfare 2 awaits!

I missed 12:00 by about 30 seconds...and ended up 46th in line for Dragon Age on the PS3. 130 or so in the 360 line...

The guy from Amazon just cancelled my order saying he ran out of stock for this item --- argh

ended up getting one off of ebay instead and ended up paying a bit more - a few bucks and the shipping will be a little slower now by a few days

For comparison reasons, IGN UK gave the PC version a 9.2 while IGN AU gave the 360 version 8.4. Could be a trend, but those are also completely different teams so could just be a difference of opinion. I haven't really read either one yet so can't say for sure, and official IGN (meaning not UK or AU) hasn't put up a review yet. I don't agree with the whole "reviews are all bought" conspiracy theory, as I generally trust IGN. Reviews are all just opinions anyway, which is why I always pay more attention to press averages.

I'm more of a PC gamer, so the choice is obvious for me. Well, that and I have neither a 360 or PS3 . Although I have to admit a 360 is tempting now that I bought a 46" LED tv last month...

I heard the multiplayer component will be minimal, like some sort of in-game twitter for your quest status. I wasn't too concerned with it and I'll be firewall blocking it most likely, so I didn't read up to much. But they did say they wanted to have some degree of online functionality.

I'm kinda surprised at this. Seeing as how this is supposed to be the spiritual sucessor to Baldur's Gate and BG had up to 6 player multiplayer, not to mention it's 11 years later since the original and everything these days seems so multiplayer focused. But I'm not really complaining as I played BG by myself and loved it, and the multiplayer was essentially the same thing as single player just with more people.

I pre-ordered my copy of the collector's edition from Gamestop way back in March. Checked the order status this morning to find out that it has been backordered. How frustrating.

You can still order the CE direct from the EAstore with free shipping today. They claim it is in stock.

I thought the Mass Effect armor was CE only? I got the standard edition from Gamestop and it came with the armor and that Shale download quest.

I chose to start as a Noble Dwarf Warrior, what about the rest of you?
