Very nice. I have to agree that used game markets actually only serve to stimulate the industry rather than hurt it. It allows you to play mroe games, get more interested in gaming, and gets you to a point where you start scouting out upcoming releases and eventually buying some when they come out if you're interested.

Speaking of EGM -- we got our first big gamer break with them. Kyle Orland (now at Crispy Gamer) had done a best-in-class game trading site comparison and we came out on top. This was many moons ago.

I have to agree with others. Great article and interviews. Definitely answered some questions that even Goozex members have. Good job!

OnLive is going to crash hard, I think. Essentially your connection has to be up at all times to do anythign on it. There's no offline play. When the system becomes obsolete, it will TRULY become obsolete in that if the servers don't support it anymore, your controller and little receiver box are worthless, and you can't play. UNliek my old Sega Genesis, which will still play Sonic on my TV if I want it to. PLus I don't think gamers are ready for (or even will ever want) completely digital distribution and abandonment of physical media.
I'm not really sure what the advantage is anyways. It doesnt save much space. I can't imagine the receiver box is much smaller than a Wii. I guess if the hardware is elsewhere, they can upgrade hardware for you (and everyone else) constantly, but I'm still pretty skeptical.
