If I had a BB it would just be yet another phone to ignore.  I hate phones it's one of the few pieces of consumer electronics that actually makes life worse.  I don't like being bothered and that's all phones do as far as I'm concerned.  What other devise intereupts everything you do with some annoying sound that makes you feel as if it's more important than you are.

My 6 week old daughter.  That cry can get annoying and it doesn't go away.

Good to see the other family men chiming in.

My wife is convinced that I'm gonna be that old man who yells at people to get off the lawn and looks out the window at every little noise.  I told her I'm just getting a headstart

I'm already that "old man"... One of the advantages to owning a rottie is people generally don't mess with anything on your property.  It's also great for getting rid of unwanted visitors, like those energy sales people.

My GF is addicted to her BB, but it's 90% checking emails from work, she gets WAY too many emails because she has been pegged as a SME for too many things.

The other 10% it's my BBms or her friends BBMing her...

EXACTLY why i want one.  The wife wants some little yiper dog, I told her I draw the line at what kind of dog we have since I'm gonna be the one walking it at 5 am.  We gotta wait for the kitty to retire to the literbox in the sky first though because he's a big crybaby who doesn't like other animals......damn cat is gonna outlive us all just despite me.

No.  But I would grab a HTC Touch Pro 2 if I could work out the camera permission issues with work.

No.  But I would grab a HTC Touch Pro 2 if I could work out the camera permission issues with work.

what kinda work do you do where u need permission to have a camera phone?

Lots of places where clearances are required. Though my employer recently gave up trying to keep camera phones out on a campus-wide basis simply because it's getting harder and harder to find a phone without a camera.

And outside closed areas requiring top secret clearances you'll see bins full of blackberries and phones because they aren't allowed into the room.
