but taking good players from cleveland is like taking candy from a baby. cleveland has basically just given away every decent player they have had and have done it for the past few years. its almost as if their manager wants them to be bad... (Major League anyone?)

Leading up to this series, I've heard and read a lot about who to watch on the team - and this is all coming direct from Phillies fans - and Cliff Lee was not a stand-out, Cy Young or not. That probably means I need to expand my sources a little bit.

Renaissance 2K: I need a favor from anyone here that may live in or commute to NYC regularly. There's a very strong chance that I'm going to be in tomorrow's NYC edition of Metro, the free commuter newspaper that - at least in Philly - is scattered wherever public transportation is available. I'm looking for someone who would be able to procure a few copies to throw them in a mailer and send them to me in exchange for $10 in Goozex gift cards (10 tokens, 200 points, or half-and-half).
