mrkekeru:Last gen the difference in power between the two consoles mean developers had to pick and choose whether they wanted to go the extra distance and optimize a release for each system. Now, if you have one you have them both.
Last gen is the same situation as this gen: First- and Second-party developers are single platform. Third-party are cross-platform.

Last gen Sony had Capcom, Namco, Square Enix, and eventually Clover all on its side exclusively, where most of Xbox's exclusives were from western developers. This gen all of them have gone multi-platform.

Namco and Capcom had games on both Gamecube and the XBox last Gen. Where are you getting your information from?

Not to mention Dreamcast.
They mostly gravitated towards the PS2. I can't think of any major Namco Xbox games besides Soul Calibur II (they didn't get SCIII at all).
Capcom on the Xbox had... Steel Battalion and a bunch of shovelware unless I'm missing something.
Gamecube has always been a separate beast, they did get a little love from those two but not nearly as much as PS2 did.

big difference between gravitating to and having exclusivity on one platform. Capcom also put out some fighting games on Xbox along with Onimusha, to name some more.
But it's okay, we already know your stance on videogames as a whole. You arguing about anything is generally not necessary. We know the final outcome will be "it sucks" or "it's no good". something along those lines.

Durr hurr
Maybe you're right, I must have phrased that wrong, what I meant was 'anything they expected to make any money at all they developed for the PS2'. Onimusha was a port and those fighting games were as well. Whenever they tried making an exclusive for the GCN or Xbox it sold like crap, look at what happened to the Capcom exclusive 5 for the gamecube.

All you're really doing is trolling more and more now. You said exclusive and you were wrong. Please move along. No need to continue the back and forth flaming.
... and on a side note, select Gamecube sales figures:
Resident Evil 4: 1.6m
Resident Evil Zero: 1.25m
Soul Caliber 2: 1.1m
RE4 for PS2 sold 2 million units after it had been a GCN exclusive for several months.
But I'll drop it if you wish.
PS not trolling

Thats exactly what i thought the whole time, it was all about tali.
at least untill they get boring, then you have wrex. :P
On the topic: statistically speaking, i say its gonna be U2. Judging from all them krazy reviewz ,if GOTY is to be a PS3 exclusive, it will likely be Uncharted 2. Otherwise the lack of change everyone knows as CODMW2 will take over. I'll still buy it though :(
Side note: Notice how its not UC2, thats Unreal Championship 2 k? and the liandri conflict part doesnt count. The C isnt even capitalized, what happened to make it UC2? U2 works. Who cares if its a band headed by an overzealous scottish man?
Search UC2 and tell me the first thing you see.

Irish maybe?
