It's not nearly as hard as advertised. It's simply learning based gaming. You learn the level and the enemies weakness/strengths just like a MMO.
I thought God of War I and II was harder than DS because of the annoying "block puzzles" and a few cheap enemies.
DS never feels cheap, any time I die, I know it was either a mistake, or a risky fall or I was not prepared for the enemy's attacks.
If you can beat 2 levels in Maximo Ps2 or if you can beat God of War I and II, Demon's souls will feel average in difficulty. The difference is in demon's souls you die more, but "fear not death, brave warrior" like MMOs death is an integral part of DS gameplay.

Honestly I just can't get into Infamous. I played till the second part of the city was open and just dropped it. One of these days Ill finish it.

I've played every game on that list that I care to and I've determined: There were no really good exclusives for PS3 (and I imagine none for Xbox either) this year. The consoles are too similar in power so they end up sharing all their good games this gen. Last gen the difference in power between the two consoles mean developers had to pick and choose whether they wanted to go the extra distance and optimize a release for each system. Now, if you have one you have them both.
