Bad time of the year for any game that isn't AAA level. Sacred 2 was a much better game 3 months ago
I handle most of the AAA alone; my wife's taste in games is limited. However, there's not really a ton I can think of coming out in the next few months that has got me going bonkers either. With MW2 out of the running, my next big title is Supreme Commander 2, supposedly due in March.

All my l33t skills go out the window with a controller...lol, and I become an average, 1:1 player...
Still, it may not be a bad avenue to get the title, though I'm still disappointed with what they've done. With these deals, I could live with a "$20" MW2 purchase, even if I just turned it around and made another Goozer happy.

No doubt. Some douche made fun of me on UC2 multiplaye because I went 2:14 one round. It was my first time EVER playing the game.
Unfortunately, 2:14 is still one of my better rounds.

Usually I can take a few rounds to settle into a 1:1 evening on consoles....PC I can usually attain much better averages, and lash myself if I don't!

I am getting a little better with the PS3 controller though.
EDIT: I will note my first round of UC2 was god awful. I think it was 1 and 10ish. Second round I went 16 and 8 though....I'm not sure what changed.

If Sacred 2 was addicting like Coke, Demon's Souls is like Oxy... way more addicting, and more fun! ;)

Very good choice. So much overwhelming goodness. My only complaint with the game is they used cheap ink on the strategy guide, so after only reading or holding it for only 3 hours total, the spine is almost half rubbed off, leaving it just whitish, looking a lot like the fog in the game.

I was good at SOCOM 2 but it's been downhill ever since as my FPS/3rdPS online playing time dropped once the SOCOM 2 cheat 9 came out ruining that game. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
I was also decent at Counterstrike on a non cheat server, and ok at RTCW on XBOX. But that was a few years ago and I have news for all you men out there....reflex time slows over 30 and nothing you can do about it.
Oscar De La Hoya is a great example, as is CHuck Liddell. Both are timing punchers, a split second lost in reflex time means everything.
