Agree. Too many thread have derailed and turned into "Console War XXXVII". This thread should be all about enjoyable games...nothing to do with consoles.
It doesn't really have to be a system war thing, you guys could just congratulate the PS3 on the kickass titles it got this year. Considering games that can't be played on it are getting 7% of the vote combined here.

And the sad part about it is that the PS3 may be winning at the moment but I can bet that if you polled people about what system they played the game they voted for game of the year on, PS3 would end up losing because everyone that has a PS3 voted for Uncharted or Deamon Souls. Your facts dont mean anything, Uncharted was just released which means it will get way more votes than it deserves. And like stated before in this thread or another it is getting the GoW affect where it is overhyped because it is a big name console exclusive.

So you believe that 100% of the people voting for games other than Uncharted or Demon's Souls are playing it on Xbox? Because that's about the figure you'd need for that to be accurate considering PS3 exclusives are almost taking 50% of the vote by themselves.

What was even worse was entering the action genre while keeping the 1995, no analog stick, survival horror controls. Those controls worked fine when I was killing one zombie or two zombie dogs...not so much hordes of zombie a la Left for Dead.
Undoubtedly GOTY is Uncharted 2. I'm not sure why so many people on these boards hate it so much. Brilliant voice acting, sound, graphics...so the jumping isn't 100% accurate...it's not 100% accurate on any game.
That is a matter of opinion.
IMHO, RE5 is a fantastic game that I played through many times. I will agree that its not for everyone, but for me, it was spot on.

It bothers someone like me, because I like to think that most of the Goozex community is above this silly crap. Continually touting one system over another is childish and immature. Doing it once or twice as a joke is one thing, but it gets old after that and people tend to not to take you seriously anymore about anything.
The same goes for bashing another system. I'm not ever going to bash the Ps3 because that would be baseless and stupid on my part. Like I said earlier, I would love to know why uncharted 2 is so great, instead of hearing "Ps3 PWNS the voting!!
