I didn't watch it, sinc word of mouth was Dunham haters and fans alike didn't like it. Besides, most of the stuff he did after Spark of Insanity (A.K.A. When he became famous), not that great.

Having a good stand up special is really hard.  Most of the great comedians can really only do 2 specials before it's over.

Chris Rock, George Lopez, Eddie Murphy.  3 examples of having 2 great SU specials, and then everything after that being boring...

A lot of fans don't realize how hard it is to get even 15 minutes of funny stand up, to do 90 minutes of solid jokes takes a long time.  Rock even has to use outside writers and "taggers" and his last special was ho hum.

One of the only really, really funny jokes of the entire show was along the lines of, "Maybe Jeff will pull a Dave Chappelle. I've always wanted to visit Africa."

IMO, Dunham is one of the worst comics I've ever seen. It's very rare that I'm actual offended by a comedian, but I feel that Dunham's jokes are just unfunny stereotypes, and I don't even get the impression that he's trying to make me laugh. Again, this is just my opinion, and I'm not trying to say that people are wrong for liking Dunham, I just personally think that he's terrible.

And because after criticizing Dunham I'm usually asked to name the comedians that I do like, I'm just going to do that ahead of time:

My all time favorite comedians are Louis C.K. and Gabriel Iglesias...

Both have had me on the ground hurting with abdominal pain...

I wasn't really impressed by the first episode. He seems like he's trying too hard and holding back. Jeff Dunham is a very funny guy when he's not restricted to fart jokes and tired terrorist stereotypes. Hoping future episodes will let him stretch his act a little bit.

I unfortunately agree.  I did get a few laughs in during the episode, but it didn't seem to be the same quality of content that his great shows often utilize.

 

I would have to agree,there where a few moments where i got a good chuckle. But no where as funny as he is in person or on his dvd's.

Same here,other than bubba j's part,it wasnt that good. But,it deserves another chance. Besides,its Jeff Dunham. I will continue watching it.

P.S. Just got back from Saw VI, not as good as I hoped,but not bad.
