I'm new to trading, I wish I had found this site when it first got started. Even though I am a "newbie" I feel the need to vent a little already. I have Forgotten Realms Archives (Silver Edition) in my Requests. A match came up, but I was denied. Why do people put up games, then refuse to trade? I mean, I saw a match and got excited, I thought I would be able to play some of the games that got me hooked on RPG's in the first place! This just plain sucks.

Some users are very hesitant to trade with Brand new users, I know it sucks because we were all new sometimes but there are people who do this, sorry it happened to you and i hope you have better luck next match up

It could also be that they misplaced the game, I know I've done that before especially with a game that takes a long time to get traded.  If I had the game I'd trade it ya, I don't mind trading with new users at all

Did they decline the offer, or did it just time out?

It's annoying when it occurs (especially when it's a game you really want) but it happens to everyone once in a while.

Ummmmmmm, not sure about that. What exactly happens when it times out anyway?

A seller has 26 hours to confirm/deny the trade; if they don't it just times out.

If they decline the trade it will happen before the 26 hours have expired.

I noticed there were two copies on hold, one full package and one disk & manual ... so it might be that it timed out.

I got this last year and it is sweet ... the code wheels and massive manual, just great stuff!  Sorry, no giving it up!
