So can I now email Goozex and change my positive feedback for games I got that didn't have DLC since now I can't trade them back and want my points back :P 

this is so dumb I'm speechless.  The games I got off Goozex I now can't trade back into the system as 1.  I never got DLC to begin with and 2. Now REQUIRE DLC to be traded out...

if this rule is in affect then naturally it will affect digital copies for movie trading as well

which have expiration dates. AND MS codes and PSN codes tend to have expiration dates as well, which is why Goozex is wrong in their decision. I tried to use an UNO code 2 years later and it wouldnt work. How will they handle that?

technically by there definition you get negative feedback which i think needs to be straightened out by goozex real quick.

Also another thing to consider is having a MS or PSN code is technically not trading a used copy.  It's a brand new copy for you cant trade a used code....... 

I meant even codes have expirations. I was using that game as an example of the fact that codes expire.

Was it a case of code expiration or the code being stolen via code generator?

Now on to people trading software only on games that require hardware such as Rock Band Bundles, Ace Combat, Guitar Hero, Wii Sports Resort, Etc.... and not delivering on hardware but getting the same amount of points.

(Run on sentence I know)

From the FAQ:

"Unless specified otherwise under “trading info” for the specific title, ALL transactions must abide by the following requirements for shipping:"

So Trading Info wins.

I believe individual game trading instructions have always trumped the faq .

I'm glad that Goozex made the change, but it's sad that this discussion even had to take place.

@ h4ck54w and Kevlar51:  Ahhhh.  Thanks!  I don't plan on trading (or owning) GeOW2:GotY, but it's nice to be clear if any other games become a one-off case.

Happy to see this all come to a sensible conclusion.

Is the G-team going to chime in on this? I'm glad it's back, but when was it changed? Why was it changed? When were they going to tell us? Why did they change it back without telling us?

All of this affects our ability to trade within the rules.

I'm glad I can list my copy of Fable 2: LE as "Fable 2 LE" since there's a differece of 250 pts...I'm curious of their response to my email though.

Wow really?  What changed and when did that happen?  My bad, I must have been out of the loop.

They made that change when Gears of War 2: GOTY came out.  There were some concerns over the pricing of the regular version being lower than the GOTY version.  Without the DLC the GOTY version is just the regular version.  So, they changed their stance on DLC.

lol, why is the G-team continuing to do these ninja changes to the FAQ?

...not that I disagree with the fixed rule, but we can't be changing the rules on how trading goes down back and forth with no announcements, no discussion.  Not only will newbies be confused, but vets too!
