Ultra Slow Server Speeds on EVERY release date????? Please HELP!

When you have hundreds of people jamming the site at the same time, things like this will happen a lot.

If it makes you feel any better I've only gotten first in line for a hot new release once, and that was only because there was a screw-up on the release date and it had to be manually fixed.

I know the trick, have goozex open and signed in on at least two different windows.  that way when one freezes up just close it and try with the next window.  worked for me I got 7 in line for Fifa 2010 but i dont know how many people wanted that game.

One thing to remember is that "right on time" in this situation is a window of about 5 seconds.

its all a matter of luck I landed a top spot last week (First time ever) but I usually get pretty far back in line. Just keep trying is all I can say in regards to this. Sometimes you win and sometimes you wont. If theres 300 people all trying to get top spot on borderlands then the chance of you getting somewhere in the top 10 is only 1/30. Big releases like this will have more people trying to get it and will also increase the chance you will get for a lousier spot.

Weird, I didn't have any problems this time: 8 in Borderlands, 5 in Fifa 10, and 1 in Bakugan all for xbox 360.  I guess I was just lucky.

Theirs a site refresh a minute before and still everything goes slow, it doesn't matter your always up or low

So here I am 12:59am on my Goozex watch list staring at the little picture of Borderlands with my mouse hovering over "add to requested" and my finger eagerly resting on the right mouse button. Two clocks in front of me, it turns 1AM I click my mouse like a wild west gunslinger drawing his gun to save his life, only to see "cant add to requests before release date"!!!!! Not again.

Try to refresh the page, and Goozex locks up! Nothing I do for the next 20 MINUTES makes any difference at all. By the time I can add it to my requested list I am rewarded for staying up with a "long wait"   indicator. Even though I was there ready to go EXACTLY ON TIME somehow 120 people got ahead of me.........again.

PLEASE TELL ME WHY and WHAT I CAN DO SO THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.

It's just the luck of the draw, I've been doin pretty good lately 2 for ODST 1 for Saw and 6 for Borderlands.
