G-Nitro: killmak: G-Nitro: This is something better left to being on the Goozex Exchange and not the trading side of things Ya but the Goozex exchange is too expensive so it would be cheaper if they were to be traded rather than bought off the exchange. Not really. a $20 point card would go for like 800 points. I wouldn't mind that. a $50 point card would go for 2000 points or they could make it less like 1800. Either way, I think those would be great deals.

So a Wii points card would go for 800 points?....Isn't 800 points worth $40 US?
Protip: Most new releases trade in for $40 at wherever the heck they do trade-ins now. Games that are very popular/high demand will usually stay at $40 for several months. Or in the case of some Wii games, years even. So what you do is, request one of these on Goozex for 1000 points. Trade it in for $40. Buy yourself a 3200 points card with that $40. Now you have bought points from Goozex! Sort of.
I think goozex should start selling cards for gold membership and playstation network cards. If we can't sell them be mail then seller could e-mail the code to the buyer.
I think Suggest price could be around 400 or atleast 350 points for the 3-month Gold, 1600 Microsoft points and Playstation network card.
300 points for 1-month gold
900 points for 12-month gold
Think its a Good Idea?
While I think it's a good idea, it's something that ultimately isn't really trackable. That would be a main concern of mine. I don't know how well the XBLA games sell around here, though I'm guessing not very well since there always looks to be a ton available and not many requested, but I can seea scenario like the following happen:
EX: UserA sells UserB a 1600pt. card. B redeem it. B can then tell support that the code didn't work and that A redeemed it. Since they'd "verify" the code, they'd see that it was already redeemed. The burden is on A to prove that he/she didn't activate that code. A can't prove anything. B gets free points and his Goozex token and points back, and A is screwed.
A tracking number, which is kind of like insurance to the sender, isn't accessible because it's not applicable. Unless a user is physically mailing a card in a mailer with delivery confirmation or something, which in itself is dense because the cost of materials to send the card would almost certainly cost more than mailing it, I don't see it working out at all. Good idea, I don't see it happening.
That's just my $.02.
EDIT: I voted "Maybe", because I can see both sides of the argument.
I thought the OP was talking about the Goozex Exchange at first, and I don't think that would be a bad idea. It would be great if I could get points cards via the exchange. The only problem is most everything on the exchange is REALLY overpriced, so I imagine this would be too. I guess for the people with a surplus of points that don't mind overpaying, having subscription and points cards on the exchange would be good for them.
I would definitly be interested in spending points on the exchange for a live subscription. There is nothing more i hate than spending money on subscription services. As long as it isn't something ridiculous like 2400pts for a year of live.
Plenty of threads already on this topic. Merging with the main one.
