Hardest "Hard Mode" you played!

Contra without the 30 lives code.

The most recent one I can think of is Alien Hominid: on Easy I couldn't even finish the first level. Can't imagine what the other difficulty levels are like.

IDK ..... I beat  Cod W@W on vet, but Cod 4 i cant get past No fighting in the war room or the ep. on Vet.other then that the only other challenges i can think of is Super Mario 3 and Rtype, and one other game that nobody every heard of Metal Warriors...... Oh one more i can remember a computer game that pissed me off when i was younger and didnt really understand....Mist   i think it was

Veteran mode on COD4 and WaW, Uncharted 1 and 2 in Crushing mode. And SFIV hardest difficulty, you can't even breath before u get ur ass kicked, holy $#!T

This is very true! On easy mode baseball game makes the picther pretty much soft pitch the ball to you. On hard mode, the picther pretty much throws the ball right by you without a chance in hell you'll hit I mean you must have perfect timing to hit the ball. At least in fighting games and first-person shooters you have the chance to fight back on baseball games especially in hard mode you absolutely have no chance

Dynasty Warriors 6 was so hard on easiest mode that I traded it. Man that game was hard and unforgiving- Not even one achievement

I'll be honest, I don't like playing games on Hard or whatever they want to call it. It usually just ends up in frustration and no enjoyment. I want to enjoy the game. Yeah, I like to be challenged, but I am just not that great at video games. I like to play games, so I play them on Normal/Medium. Slight challenge, maybe a little frustration, but a lot of enjoyment.

So I guess my answer is, "Hard games are hard, dang it!"

I don't play games on hard. Otherwise I will end up with broken controllers due to Gamer Rage. xD

I try not to play games on hard mode (usually on easy or normal), and usually when I do it ends up not being that hard because it's something I've been playing over and over. Though I'll admit almost any Street Fighter game on hard (I remember Street Fighter II being extremely difficult on Hard [or whatever the highest one was called]) is probably the hardest.
