I'm the "other guy" that was 168th place in line when I wrote the post.  I was bumped down to 162, but it doesn't really matter since I decided to drop the 2,400 points on the game.   I figured, with the help of some good opinions on the exchange thread, that the roughly 4 games that I traded in to get the 2,400 points would have netted me enough $ at gamestop to buy UC2 outright, so it was almost the same thing as using the exchange.  That, and the fact that Goozex has saved me so much real $ on games in the last year that if it helps them to exchange that many points for a game and somehow benefit the site, I’m all for it.  I’m still not 100% clear on how this benefits Goozex though.

Why would you want to use Gamestop trade in prices for a comparison?  If you are getting ripped off by Gamestop, then arent you getting ripped off by Goozex?

I'd like to point out 15 people have selected that they bought the game via buy it now. Give or take a liar or two, I'd say this is pretty sucessful.

I never said gamestop was a ripoff.  If I can take 4 games that are sitting at my house collecting dust and turn them into a new game, that to me is a good deal.  Trading 2 games for a new one is a better deal, but it doesn't always work out that way, and in this case it didn't, but I don't mind.  With the reviews and what I've seen of the game, I'll go on record as saying it's worth it, even before getting the game.

Because that's roughly what using the Exchange equates to.  Goozex overall kills GS in value.  The Exchange isn't meant to be Goozex's bread and butter, but rather just another, slightly more elite way, in which to get a new game instead of used; a service ON PAR with GS. 

As noted above, trading idle games for a fresh new one is never a rip off, though you'll most often get far more value for your games here, is all.

bahhhhh this sucks

i have 2400 points but cant get buy now because i have 3 trades in transit......now i have 83 trades completed with all positive feedback and NEVER 1 negative.....goozex should have an exception for people like me with outstanding feedback instead of having to wait for my trades to clear before i can use buy now

looks like ill be waiting a couple more weeks ::sigh and cry::

The exchange is great, and Goozex overall blows GS and similar services out of the water by miles, but when you consider what you give and what you get when using the exchange, it's very close to what you'd get with GS.  I'm happy the exchange is around though, because I seriously can not stand GS anymore.

I hit "buy it now yesturday" and wish I hit it sooner.  My points were not going anywhere...  And I am ready to play it now!!!  Everything else I can patiently wait for.
