The buyer recieved it and then i get negative claiming game does not work.  I have shipped many games out this is my first negative.  He claimes that if i just let it go and let it "time out cancel" on the negative feedback that he gets his points back and that when that happens he will give me an email address so that i can get my game back.  I know he recieved it because even though it was only 100 points i used DC.  I dont care if he gets his points back as long as i get my game back.  What are my options?  I disputed the feedback so that i could look up my answer but i didn't find it in the FAQ or on the help and support pages. 

Can someone kinda walk me through what i should do?

Dispute the feedback and he will have to send the game to Goozex for testing. If the game does work, he is screwed. If the game does not work, you are screwed. Smile

Pizza guys are getting worse and worse looking. I guess all the good ones went into porn.

sounds like the buyer is trying to scam u, dispute it.

Ok, i disputed it and now he has requested a cancel.  if i accept what will happen?

Dont accept.

Accepting the cancel will make it like the trade never happened.  But the fact is that you did pay postage and send the game to him. So he would still have the game and you wouldn't have any points to show for it.  You'll be back at the fornt of the lien to trad eit out agian, but you don't have the product anymore to send it out.

Escalate it to Goozex.  If the game really does work, they'll reverse the feedback to positive, and you'll get your points.

I'm actually in a similar situation but am curious as to what I am supposed to do.  I got a game in the mail that didn't work, I gave negative feedback, and the seller accepted the feedback.  Do I still need to send the game into goozex hq?  Goozex lists the dispute as closed.

Seller didn't dispute it, so you got  a free drink coaster out of it.  Just don't put it back into the system. Wink

Well I SCREWED THAT ONE UP!!   

Im laughing about it a little inside because I would do something then post asking what i should have done. 

Now i know for next time, and I am only out a game i dont play,(im still very sure that it worked) and 100 points.  I would have been really mad had it been a more "expensive" game. 

THANK YOU EVERY ONE for your quick reply and for the painful but easy to learn lesson.

Yeah, you really should have asked before you accepted the trade, hopefully things will work out better for you next time. If it was a scam, it was somewhat pointless since it was only 100 points (the equivalent of five dollars).

thats what im saying,  Im glad i learned this the cheap way.
