Hey guys im new to this and i was wondering if the games that you put up to sell is limited to the point values that the website sets it for. for ex., the game call of duty: world at war is 750 points, so if you want to sell this game , do u have to sell it for 750 or is there a way where u can sell it for like 600 points since so many people are trying to sell it for 750. Answer would be really appreciated, thank you.

So if you wanted to sell a game and ur current position was 110 u could conclude that the game isnt going to be sold? or is there hope?

There is hope. Trading on this site requires patience sometimes. It will eventually trade. It may be worth fewer points by the time yours is requested, but it will trade. Position is not always accurate also. Make sure you drill down and look at the active offers ahead of you. Setting your trading preference to ship to Canada will help too. If everyone ahead of you ships US only and a Canadian requests the game, you are next in line!

Very true, I've actually jumped in front of 30 or 40 people to trade out a game because they all had their trading region closed, and I have mine open to Canada.

Is there a setting that allows you to send games to Canadians, but not receive games from them?

I changed my preferences to ship to canada also but it didnt help at all. When i had my preference on U.S. only, my position was 111 and when i changed it to U.S. and Canada it went up to 117.. which makes no sense. can anyone explain?

Because the are Canadians in line as well. Since you are now opening yourself to their region, there are people ahead of you there. Not all in the U.S. have their trading region open to Canada tho, so that is why you see a lower # when dealing just with US traders

Has anyone sold and shipped a game off from other websites like amazon or ebay? if so, how much does it cost to ship a game and what are the procedures? sorry i've never shipped a game before and i was wondering what the steps were from someone that has done it occasionally

Shipping is relatively easy. Once your game is sold or requested for a trade. You ship it off in a bubble mailer with all the shipping info (address of buyer and return address). You have 3 options at this point to actually ship it.

1) Go to the post office and mail it there. This is probably the best option for someone new to shipping.

2) Use the Goozex shipping labels if its traded on this site.

3) Use Paypal Shipping.

Oh, and always get Delivery Confirmation

ok thx.

your new to this arent you?, anyway shipping is about 1.50 for most games and bubble mailers are about 1.00 at most places.
