That is illegal and Goozex is not a place to discuss such activities
killmak: Not sure what you are trying to get at here. A floppy disc does not contain a DVD inside it. Also when a disc gets broken all information is not lost. Just a tiny tiny amount of the binary code that is contained in the area of the crack is lost. Once this little bit of information is lost your xbox or PS3 will not be able to read the disc since it is constantly trying to read from the spot that is missing.

Actually, this is not true. DVD/Blu-ray/CD all write redundant data to the disc. If it were true, every disc would probably fail inside an hour due to dust alone. There is actually quite a lot of space devoted to redundancy on discs to make sure light scratches and dust do not affect the disc. A major crack causes issues with a disc because it can either cause the disc to disintegrate in the drive or the laser hitting the crack causes it to reflect and refract the beam in ways the drive cannot handle. Discs with minor cracks(the ones that do not penetrate all the way through) are definitely readable. Discs are read in a spiral and this is why circular scratches are much worse than ones perpendicular to the center. It is also why you should never wipe a disc in circular motions.
I was about to say! I know for a fact the "Tape" trick works, although, I used it on a disc that was only cracked half-way through. I ressurected a copy of "psyops" for PS2 that had been eaten by a dog, the case was destroyed, the game bounced and cracked from the inside of the spindle, about half way through the disc.
I applied a single long piece of scotch tape, on top of the label. and it did indeed work, Although I ran the risk of it abruptly shattering, I got to finish the game.
Also, why I will never have a pet, I could not stand my games being eated.
