I'm confused by Brutal Legend

In short, Brutal Legend is friggin' fantastic. If you don't agree that's fine, just stop trying to make me feel bad for liking it.

No one is "making you feel bad".  It's called having an opinion.  If someone expressing that they don't like a game or a actor makes you feel bad, you should really reevaluate your internet browsing.

You're right about two things. First, no one is making me feel bad, because I don't take that kind of internet bull**** seriously. Second, it's is most definitely all opinion.

The thing is, it stops being "just an opinion" when people start to throw out the insults. This whole thread is filled passive-aggressive mudslinging (your post is yet another example of that). And the Goozex community, overall, has been doing more and more of that lately.

I'm really not trying to say the whole community is like that, but as far as I can tell the overall ratio of "nice" to "snide jackass" has shifted quite a bit in the last year. It's disappointing to say the least.

Back to the original topic, I beat Brutal Legend last night. My opinion hasn't changed. It's still one of my most favorite games ever.

I removed this game from my requests due to hearing about how the RTS elements of the game are so involved. I am not much of a fan of that style of gameplay and when you pile that on top of the fact I'm not a Jack Black fan at all, I decided I might as well save myself the time and not bother with this game.

Wow I didn't really see this thread as aggressive mudslinging at all?  I hate on jack black from his over exposure, not on forum members for liking him.

I played the Demo and thought the Cut Screnes and graphics were pretty great. The gameplay I didn't dig though. Oh well. Not as bad as I thought but still not for me
