if your a fan of gore or mild language than maype this could be a good game for you. i kinda liked it but it had bad acting. but the rest was awesome

I'm honestly still confused. I'm laughing my ass off watching these clips. I don't know why other people hate him so much, I think he's hilarious.

To each their own I guess. Still really doesn't make sense, and feels like something that people "hate" because it's popular to hate it, which is in a way the definition of being pretentious.

To act as if you don't like something so you can feel more important, or...popular in this case, is to be pretentious. Look it up. I'm not saying you have to like the guy, I'm just saying that I have yet to hear a valid complaint about the guy besides not liking him. If there is no merit behind your complaints then it is entirely possible that you are being pretentious, and so I throw it out there. I'm not assuming anyone is, I'm simply saying it's a definite possibility given what I've read here.

This is why I don't really post on Goozex anymore. The general community has gotten too snotty for my taste.

I have no problem with other people disliking the game for whatever reason (except the blatant lies). What I have a problem with are the people in this thread hassling those of us who think this game is ****ing awesome. For no reason. Well, other than to make themselves look cool, I suppose.

In short, Brutal Legend is friggin' fantastic. If you don't agree that's fine, just stop trying to make me feel bad for liking it.

You shouldn't feel bad cause you like it. You should feel bad because god hates it. j/k it's ok I don't take games seriously this post is mostly in jest. I could give a poopy pants what other people like and dislike.

Anyway, I am a bit farther into the gamem, haven't beat it yet for various reasons. It's definitely fun, and it's definitely metal, but one thing that really bothers me is the large-scale RTS battles. The control scheme makes it ridiculously hard to manage them, compared to something specialized and streamlined like pikmin, and especially compared to a dedicated RTS. It doesn't help that the first one you do is immediately followed by an escort mission. I'm sure I'll have plenty more complaints after I beat it.

No one is "making you feel bad".  It's called having an opinion.  If someone expressing that they don't like a game or a actor makes you feel bad, you should really reevaluate your internet browsing.

Thats a pretty snotty comment don't you think...poopy pants face! :) jk

At first I didn't like this game because it looks stupid. The whole "Were so metal thing" I've always thought was lame other then one awesome movie that goes to 11. Then I found out Jack Black was in it which is horrifying. Then I saw it get good ratings which confuses me. Maybe I'll download the Demo. 

Side note if there was some sort of Mention of the Fallen Dime Bag Darrell I might get it. RIP Dimebag

On another note, even though I dislike Jack Black, this is a game I badly want to play.  Everything about this game seems awesome to me, except Jack Black.  One voice isn't going to keep me from enjoying something that seems like it's catered to someone with my tastes.

If it did, I'd never ever watch a movie.  Even movies with actors I like very much have a role with someone I dislike in them, somewhere.  Take The Dark Knight, for example.  I didn't like Heath Ledger as an actor at all.  If I had refused to see the movie because of it, I'd have missed out on the best comic movie to date, IMO, and missed seeing him perform a role that I actually appreciated.

I guess what gets me about Jack Black is he can be funny-ish, in small doses.  He definitely is a good choice as a character actor, playing the side/supporting roles.  For my tastes, he should never be thrust into the spotlight of being the 'star' or main character, though.

They also had ads on Darkest of Days on there not long ago. Listen to the podcasts and see how they felt for that.

God forbid they actually like a game and advertise it at the same time.

And whoever said Invader Zim was too kiddy, really? That was the first time I seen a cartoon with a kid's eyes being taken out. Awesome.

Jack Black isn't an unfunny guy. Tenacious D is pretty good. He's not a bad actor. And he's pretty rounded in how he acts compared to maybe Carlos Mencia who constantly spouts "I'm Mexican!" even though he really really isn't -___-;
