The flu shot is a good idea for people with asthma and  young and old people. The Swine flu shot is good for everyone. get it so you don't spread it . Or dont and continue your paranoid state of "Goberment iz gonna ggets us!!" and then die of the swine flu. Darwin would be happy :)

I'm getting the swine flu shot because I don't want swine flu

The regular seasonal flu is actually worse than this current iteration of H1N1. Granted, I don't want to get either, but deaths from H1N1 is even lower than the deaths for 'regular' flu (which isn't even all that high, anyway).

The flu rarely kills people. It's the complications you can get from it that does the damage. Pneumonia and other infections are what kills the people that get sick with the flu, not the flu itself. It just weakens your immune system and makes you more susceptible to those other diseases.

I was, however, one of the lucky few to get the Chicken Pox vaccine as a kid, and I'm pretty thankful for that.  Does that mean that I would willingly get said vaccination now, if I hadn't gotten it already?  Hell no.

I ended up catching the chicken pox instead, that was my "vaccination." I Hated it! And I also hate needles. It could be the fact that my mom used to trick me when we were going to the doctors. I asked her "Are we going to get a shot?". She said "Oh no, you're just going for a check up." Of course, you know where that led. And I think it was one of those shots on your bottom too... :(

You're not making me feel any better! ...Haha.  I absolutely abhor having my blood drawn.

I never have had my blood drawn *knocks on wood* and thank god because I am a huge baby when it comes to needles...somthing about a shard of metal entering my flesh and veins doesn't appeal to me...although tattoos don't bother me in the least.

Nope, the two times I had taken the flu shot (both were forced by my school) I had become horribly ill. I haven't had any sort of vaccination in years and I'm doing perfectly fine. This whole swine flu thing is overblown by the media (like usual) and really is nothing. The only person who I know who has had swine flu is my Uncle and he is doing fine right now.

People should definitely read up on vaccinations, not all of them do what they are suppose to do and can be very dangerous. There is no need to avoid every single one - just be careful.

I just got the flu shot(nasal) last week, and as soon as I got it I got sick and had the flu for a week.

I think I'm going to pass on the swine flu shot.

Same as me! Surprise

No, because I was already diagnosed with the Swine Flu back in July. It's worse than a flu and lasts about 5-7 days but there really isn't anything they can do for you. You have to treat it like a flu.

vaccinations are great for *public health* but for personal health, it depends on your situation.

I don't get flu shots,  I rarely get the flu and I'm a healthy relatively young adult male with no kids (that I recognize).

My cat however has her FLV etc.. vaccines

I don't want those poisons in me! Nor do I believe the hype about the H1N1 pandemic. As far as I'm concerned, Obama has had 2 "9/11s" so far.  By that, I mean some stunt as an excuse to pass unconstitutional legislation or to declare martial law or to suspend habeas corpus. One was the staged economic crash to give the Fed more power and the other was this H1N1 scare to declare medical martial law.  They needed something to pitch the sway for the health overhaul and to push the human microchip agenda.  I wonder how much the Pharmaceutical companies are making off of this.  They SAY that the vaccine isn't mandatory, but I doubt it'll stay that way. Just like the military contractors needing endless war to sell their products.

I've never gotten the flu shot and I'm not about to start.  I drink lots of green tea and pro-biotics.  I rarely get sick and when I do, it doesn't last very long.

I don't get any shots that aren't required by law.  I'll take my chances.

Good one, but the economic crash wasn't "staged" just ask any of the 10% unemployed here in CA.  Also Obama did not "stage" the crash, it started (acute) under Bush.  But the real "start" was under Nixon w/ his China policy, every president since Nixon has supported the same ideas that have led to the "crash"

Vaccines are not mandatory, and only SOME pharma companies make good cash off them.  It's not like Haliburton because it has nothing to do with no bid contracts.

Obama is not in favor of any "human microchip agenda"... although I am.  Anyone w/ a violent felony should get chipped for the next 15 years IMO.

You realize "pro-biotics" is a fancy word for pond scum?  Buying pro-biotics is paying for someone to put pond scum in a bottle for you.
