killmak: There is another thing we havent taken into account. Maybe something in their system screwed up when they tried making it go live and that caused the prices to be off. Or maybe they just hate us.

when it went live someone made a comment about what was up with super peach for DS for 3400 points and soon after the listing was gone so somebody is seeing these posts
isnt everything just 2X the amount they are on Amazon? Someone else pointed this outalready but I am to lazy to verify.

No, some are more than double the price on Amazon.
Everyone needs to remember a few things:

mafafu: Everyone needs to remember a few things: This is the weekend and Goozex rarely addresses issues on the weekend. (They have a life, too.) This helps explain why they tacked the word BETA on the end of it. Because it is in BETA, expect a lot of changes if things are not successful. (Shoot, expect changes anyway) In this post and the official post, let's make sure we stay civil and mature (so far, so good in BFZ's thread) People probably are actually buying things off of the service. (This is not inside info, just an educated guess, as idiots are buying the PSP Go too.)
i agree with some of that but it doesnt take a whole weekend to make a post saying give us time, experiencing unforseen complications, anything to put our minds at ease. starting a beta then dropping of the radar makes people worry

They have obviously not been around Goozex for very long.

Hey, I resemble that remark. Well, the PSP Go part anyway. The funniest thing about this to me is that I've seen quite a few posts about how the exchange prices make the PSN ones seem reasonable. Maybe it's some Sony pay-off... I kid, but it still is funny. I'm chomping at the bit for my go. It's shipped, but they haven't even posted the friggin tracking info. Grrrr.

Those were me. In comparison to the exchange, the psn prices seem like a downright bargain.
As much hate as it gets, the go is an excellent little machine, for what it is meant to do. Could there be things better, such as allowing you to install your umds to the harddrive, so you don't have to rebuy everything? Sure there are. Overall, though, I think it's great. I'm really enjoying my little white go. Granted, it's only been out for 2 days now, but I think I'm going to get much more use out of it in comparison to my ds and when I used to have a psp.
We already know the negatives, compared to the psp, but what about the positives? The size is a huge issue, for me. The screen isn't much smaller, I think I had to cut about half an inch off a psp screen protector to make it be a perfect fit. The button layout, I also find to be better. Sure, it's in a smaller format, but it's more comfortable, for me. I'm about 6 and a half feet tall, and have pretty big hands. I love that when I move from the analog stick to the directional pad that my thumb no longer smudges the screen, without fail, and instead just brushes against the exterior casing of the psp. The wifi seems much better and more reliable, as well. I only have a 4 gig M2 card, and with about 100 songs, and 10 or so games on it, I still have 13-14 gigs of space to work with (that's out of a total 18 available, because right out of the box 2 gigs are taken up by the OS).
It suits my needs perfectly, and made working out amazingly fun. It's small enough to fit in a pocket easily, without falling out, when I was using it as a mp3 player for about 30 minutes on a treadmill and bench press, and was perfect to play some games on while doing leg press and on an a bike.
Is the price point too high? Yes, it really is. Unless they lower it, it isn't likely to do too well, in America. As I said before, if I had been spending money, and not store credit, there's no way at all I would have gotten it. Are the games overpriced, since you're paying full retail and not getting full retail? Once again, I think so. It really makes one choose their games carefully, as you can't just gooz it out, if you don't like it, and you actually paid for it, instead of using goozex points.
That being said, my enjoyment of the go outweighs my criticisms.

Interesting results so far... Keep the votes coming!!
seems like its time for a new BFZ PP, you can title it "what do you think of goozex official response to their recent epic failure?" Is it 1) a solid response that sheds light on the future of the exchange; or is it 2) useless boiler plate language that explains nothing
