Punch out wii has been in the 7 spot for like a week now.  But I click on details and it says 12 deals going on, it's said that since last week.  Why is this taking so long to move a spot with so many trades happening right now?

"Trades going on now" are all the trades that are currently waiting for feedback. Usually takes 1-2 weeks for a game to be delivered so that's probably why it's been saying that since last week. It's taking so long because no one else has offered it yet. Paitients is of virtue and blah blah blah

"Trades going on now"

That phrase has frustrated many when it comes to this.  Technically it is correct, but it's not what you think when you read NOW :)

The good news is, misery loves company and I have a few games that I've been waiting on forEVASZ

OP is Canadian with region set Canada/USA.  Many trades are happening with people who have it set USA only

Judging by the Batman thread where the demand stats were posted by an American and a Canadian with USA.Canada, a very large majority of Americans won't deal with us :(

So Americans have started not dealing with us, why? If this becomes a trend I'll leave the site.  Right now there is no trades going on and the Canadian only side is way too slow to rely on them.

This is the best explanation though and it makes sense why it's taking so long now.   :(

Well perhaps I may have jumped the gun.  I"ve been matched with someone from the U.S and they are shipping within 3 days.   :)

The only reason I do not trade with Canada has to do with my post office. My PO is small and tiny, i a podunk town, and does not give receipts for international shipping. (They also keep the customs form), leaving me no proof if something bad happens.

Glad to hear you got matched up, but understand why many don't trade to Canada. I personally got tired of standing in line for up to 20 - 25 minutes at my Post Office because it is always packed. If I trade to U.S. only, 99% of the time I do everything through paypal shipping and just drop the items in a dropbox from my car.

If I can start sending stuff to Canada without going to the Post Office, then I will gladly open my trading back up. Trust me though, closing my region hurts me as well when trying to get matches on some items.

Conveys my thoughts 100% as well.

Heck, I had to stand in line at the PO just to drop off a heavier than 13oz package for a US member once....spent 15 minutes just to say 'Here', and walk out the door.  I'm sure dealing with setting up an international trade would take far longer.

I pride getting matchups out the door well under 24 hours of the system matching us up, and that simply cannot be done currently with Canadian traders.  I'm sincerely hoping something comes down the line to allow international slips to be printed online, preferably via Paypal.  Even just shipping to Canada, which shouldn't be the hassle it is, would be nice.

Yeah, I understand the wait issue.  Seems like I go whenever every senior citizen is there to pick up their mail.  And they have to talk, and talk, and talk.  At least I do it when I'm at work so I get paid to do it :D

Oh, and thanks for the FFVIII superkickyfast mailing Kenny ;)

There is a way around problems like Mafafu has if you don't mind downloading a program from USPS and using that, there is the Shipping Assistant you can use to download and print a label which will also register the Customs number as well as give you a second half with it on it for proof. Seems though with this you need to have a postal meter in order to be able to pay for it without going to the PO (or sticking a buttload of stamps on it for the postal cost).
