It's insulting because anyone who buys any of that either a. traded away stolen dvds/games b. is a complete fool. Being basically told they think I'm a theif or a fool is very insulting.

Um, ever realized that the other option is not moving at all. As in giving up, going bankrupt and out of business, and never being seen on the face of the business world. That doesn't just apply to business, but with people too. You can either give up and not give a d*mn; or you can pull your sh*t together, toughen up, get up, and keep "moving forward", keep on going, keep trying just like before to try and get through it and take all the bad that comes at you and not even care anymore. In my opinion, there's not enough of that nowadays, we need that mentality to just keep on going, not give up no matter what and keep on clawing at it till we reach the brass ring and never let go. That's why people use the term moving forward, because we don't just want to give up and let ourselves get passed over by time and evolution. So when you wake up the next day, laying there all bruised and battered, and wonder what the hell just happened, that's when you'll realize that evolution just passed you by.
By the way Goozex, thanks for hanging in there and taking everything in stride and trying to improve it all as time goes by. Something does temp me right now, but too bad I don't have the system for it.

I think his point was more along the lines of not wanting to be addressed as though by a corporation. I've seen Goozex described as something made by gamers for gamers, which kind of puts those who run the site on our level. When we're addressed using corporate catchphrases such as "moving forward" it's like there's a corporation talking to us instead.

This is very true and I wish more companies would realize this. Corporate catch phrases are one of the big things that drive away the exact same people that make or break a community.

I think bhhawks has a promising future with the MPAA or RIAA with that attitude.

Admittedly, it does look like it is slowly getting better. I'm in line for BD Gladiator, and the price on the Exchange is almost worth pulling the trigger on. I'm still a bit hesitant to utilize the new system though.
