sooooooo, if you're trying to give "great value" to your members we won't be seeing such ridiculous prices in the next exchange. If that isn't what you meant, you might as well refer to this as a "boiler plate F U" response.
Gladiator is 800 points and some other titles too.
I'm impressed. I would get it IF I had points :)
Soon, I will join the dark side.
you mean S.U.I.Z.I.D.?

I hope your anti-gxchange mood swings to the lighter side: let's all be traders and not haters, shall we?
G-Nitro: S.U.I.Z.I.D.: G-Nitro: S.U.I.Z.I.D.: Prices should be like this Catalog Blu-Ray 600 New Release 800 Older VG 1000 New-ish Release 1400 Otherwise, NO SALE! Good for Goozex then. They will gladly accept no sale for you at those horrible prices. Good luck buying Sin City for FIFTY DOLLARS! I'm not buying it with $50. I'm buying it with 1000 points. I use the $5 per 100 points as a way to determine flips and price points for getting games and movies I normally wouldn't buy. I'm pretty sure I know how Goozex works a lot better than you, so I know I'm not dropping $50 on a game. You can look at my trade history and see how well I know this site.

But in order for you to get 1000 points you should drop A LOT OF GOODIES! In the end, it's just not worth it.

if you look, some new items have already been added
The only prices I deem ridiculous are the boxset stuff at this point. I think Goozex should steer clear of anything that is gonna cost that much right now. Seinfeld at 6000 and Bond at 8800 are outrageous in my mind. but to Goozex it makes sense cost wise. The more it costs them out of pocket, the more you will reimburse them in points.
I think the latest update and point prices are a step in the right direction. NinjaJ had the best argument with how they want it to be long term and not a 1 hour event like the past Exchanges. Maybe we got spoiled, but we are looking at the new reality and the options are A) Use the exchange or B) Don't use the exchange.
The fact of whether the exchange is too pricey or not does not take away from what makes Goozex great, and that is the wonderful trading experience we have and the amount of money we save through it.

It's MR. S.U.I.Z.I.D. to you.
I would get X-Men Origins on Blu-Ray if I wasn't already first in line for it. Was tempted to get True Blood, but then realized it was standard DVD. Boooo.
Might use it on Fallout 3: GOTY if it's added within the next couple of weeks and I don't get a good spot in line for it.
I appreciate the updates from the Goozex staff.
But please, please, I beg of you, pwetty pwease stop using the corporate jargon phrases "Moving forward, going forward, value added".
I hear those phrases 30x a week in meetings, they are meaningless filler phrases. Everyone moves forward, that is the only direction business can go. AIG moved forward after failing, GM moved forward, for crying out loud Toyota is so uncreative their new corporate motto for USA marketing is "Toyota: Moving Forward"
We can not time travel, EVERYONE is moving forward, like it or not. Everything anyone says, you can tack on the phrase "Moving forward/going forward" on the front of any sentence, the meaning will not change.
We will strive to achieve a lower failure rate.
Moving forward, we will strive to achieve a lower failure rate.
See how the meaning doesnt change? That's because "Moving forward" is filler. You without a time machine, you have no choice but to move forward.
I do give small thanks that no one has said "leveraging" yet.
That crack rock was $14 last week, moving forward it will be $18. Because "moving backwards" was not an option.
I like the Exchange and what it offers us Goozers. Had I not received Wolfenstein (PC) just the week before last via Goozex, I would have jumped on the Exchange offer for it.

I am enjoying quite a bit. In fact, I just started my second playthrough. I think it stays true to it's origins (wwII germans and the occult), and although it isn't perfect, it's quite a bit of fun. I would have happily paid 1200 points for it on the Exchange.
joshmrc: halo down to 2400
