Are these the prices the government gets to pay or something?
Will the ones for joe the plumber / main street get put up later?
Dang Wolfenstein for the PS3 jsut jumped from 1200 points to 2400 points.... Guess the 1200 was just a mistake...

BWAHAHAHAAH!

imascammer01: but its friday and still no goozex exchange program
OK I guess third time is a charm... it's LIVE at http://www.goozex.com/trading/asp/changeproducts.asp
.........
I wouldn't have a problem with this if they didn't get people so excited about it! And even though they did that, I still don't have too much of a problem with it. If I still had my 50,000+ points, I'd have picked up Wolfenstein, Okami, and Mario Kart already. Oh wait, "one purchase per month"! Anyway, you get the point.I'm sure it will get better over time though. It's an optional service. They're not ripping anyone off.
wow, should have bought wolfenstein for ps3 at 1200..... what a rip at 2400. Basically you have to trade 2.5 games that are in high demand, i.e. for this.
Real life scenario..... Would you trade Batman Arkham Asylum, Prototype and Tales of Vesparia for Wolfenstein??????? Gamestop would probably only ask for Batman and Prototype. This has to be a joke!!!
One word: Boo!!!!
did sombody at the G-team office set a coffee mug on the self destruct button.
the exchange isnt operational yet and it already sucks(based on price and selection)
The only reason I can see for the high price is that goozex uses the points to get other high demand or high trade in games from users then sells them used to Amazon to get their money/trade credits for the new games they buy/trade out for insanely high points...
I just hope that this isn't true as this would actually reduce the pool of good games on Goozex... Unless they request tons of over supplied games and trade those in to Amazon to make their money back. Now that could work: Get 24 100 point games = trade those in for an average of $2.50 a piece that's $60 new game covered lots more points in Goozex users = more trades at $1 a trade.... hmm that could work
I agree that Okami is more reasonably priced for an older game. I can actually see myself purchasing it. However, everything else...whew.
Here's hoping prices get adjusted within the first few weeks of the program. Hopefully they go down rather than up...
Interesting how they doubled the price of Wolfenstein so quickly. The reason batman changed was because the movie was changed to the 2-disc version I believe. Maybe once they seen the outcries, and most likely very few orders, they will go back to the 1600 pts for new games which sold out very quickly. As of now I don't see how anyone can order.
Cat in the walllll
Looking at this program in comparison to AMAZON trade-in, it makes more sense. On Amazon you have to trade in 2 - 2.5 games to get the value of a new one, i.e. Batman AA = $33, Prototype / Infamous $25. So it's about the same rate 2 - 2.5 games on Amazon for a new game or around 2500 goozex points. The only difference is Amazon has a far better selection.
