I love DC's BB, except there is one employee there that is newman to my seinfeld. TO make things even better my G/f's apt is directly above it, so i am a short elevator ride from that wonderful wonderful place at any given time.
nissan, columbia heights is so not the other side of town, haha. just another world, hahaha.
but yeah, the closest walmart to us is like, what, a 30 minute drive? at least?
and that's with me being already right on the edge of the city. I have a FYE in my immediate neighborhood, and the Best Buy of which nissan speaks is within a mile, but otherwise, no game stores. I can drive out to the 'burbs though, and my office is in Tysons Corner, land of suburban nightmares, hahaha.
i don't have a car, so basically any time i would want a game i would have opportunity costs involved:
-metro: 3 bucks round trip plus loss of time (I'm a consultant so I'm both very busy and charge by the hour)
-taxi: i don't even know
-zipcar: 8 bucks an hour.
Regardless, don't forget DC taxes you up the bunghole for things, so for a $60 game I'm already looking at roughly 80 bucks from taxes and effort.
Goozex? I just click a button. it comes to me. easy as all hell and worth it.

I once saw patrick ewing in the Crystal City BB
Gary Johnson For President 2012!
The BB im refering to is Tenleytown, but as far as Patrick Ewing is concerned he used to live in my g/f's old neighborhood in Potomac. Shes actually on a first name basis w/ Patrick because they went to the same local gym. She has a picture w/ him. He is sooooooooo big.
is that why his kid went to georgetown?

Zenverse:that is why I love Amazon so much! No tax at all and they have some great deals!
Agreed. Amazon has saved me from many headaches. Especially when you throw in the ECA discount.

Amazon.ca is nice enough to charge you the correct amount of tax for the Province you reside in. So it's 13% (5% Federal, 8% Provincial) for me

The Tenley BB is totally whatever is that I want like every time I go to buy something, hahaha. No matter what I'm purchasing, OUT. It's jinxed, seriously.
Not like the FYE is any better. Seriously, I never buy ANYTHING there. Usually buy my games at thrift stores or online or trade for them.

The Best Buy in Tenley never has the item she wishes to purchase when she goes to the store.
