I received a scratched game and left negative feedback, the seller apologized and said his brother handed him the game to trade (facepalm) and didn't check it.  He is pretty new so to save him getting negative feedback we agreed to cancel the trade if he paid for me to ship it back.  Unfortunately I don't have paypal so he sent the money through snail mail (which I received) and I sent the game back to him.  He hadn't gotten the game back in the mail yet and there was only one hour left on the dispute timer so I was nervous and escalated it to goozex with the message "we worked out a resolution i'm only escalating this to give us more time".  This was last night, today the dispute is closed and the seller has the negative.  What can I do to reopen it so we can cancel the trade?  Why was this closed in such a hasty fashion anyways?

If you esclated the dispute in time it takes a few days for Goozex to review the trade. Once he gets the game back send a email to feedback@goozex.com and give them all details. Once agian it will take up to 72hrs not including weekends for them to respond.

After seeing how badly it was scratched I tried to install it and it failed, also yes I know goozex takes time to look at disputes, but randomly closing one after a few hours is the exact opposite.

It just auto closes,someone at Goozex did not close the dispute. They will start to look into on Monday. The Gteam is very small so it takes a few days for them to fix the disputes. Just DON'T readd the game yourself or you will loose your place in line. When the fix everything you will be readded in the place you where when you where matched.
