I've been one of the top sellers in movies since it started :P
I've gotten 3 seasons of scrubs so far
Movies are the only trading I've done so far as a member both sending and receiving. I have games listed as well, but it looks like I may be standing in line for a while with those. At least I get to clean out my clutter and make more room for movies and box sets I want.
I have around 10 listed, but I've only had one request so far. That was for the Mike Meyers Cat in the Hat.
I got like 50 movies in my offers. Only 3 or 4 have been requested.
I have sent out 10 or so movies. Sadly all but one have been 100 pointers. At 3 bucks to ship a DVD, doesn't seem super cost effective just for 100 points. I guess I could save a buck on each and go to the post office, but since I have started using Goozex's prepaid shipping labels I have not been to the post office once. And that in itself is worth an extra buck each.
I have requested a couple of blu-rays but no takers yet.

And about the movies. Honestly, I probably could get more dvd trades out if I wanted to. However, I am not posting my best dvds considering I am still having trouble parting with some of them. And some of them I just don't want to part with, so all I'm left to trade are the crappy ones I bought cheap on impulse.
I've sent out 10, including a box set, and gotten 13 back, 2 box sets.
I think it's just like trading games is on this site -- sometimes people just aren't offering anything anyone wants, and sometimes nobody wants to trade for the game you have.
What's the difference? Because it's movies instead of games suddenly the addition of movies to the site is a failure? Nah, I disagree. I think it's gone really well, and with very minimal issues as well.
EDIT: Oh, and about most of the DVDs being 100 points or around there, I can understand the frustration of only getting $2-3 back on the DVD, but lets face it -- this day and age, where are you going to go to get that good of a deal anymore? They sell DVDs for $3 each at big lots, and less in other places. DVD is inching it's way closer and closer to the dollar bin, and although that's not a bad thing, I know it can be frustrating to think that the movie you paid $10-15 for isn't worth jack in monetary value anymore. That's just the way this stuff works, though. $2-3 each for most of these 100 pointers isn't really that bad of a deal. I say take it.
For the latest news on Games, Movies, and everything geeky!
hot and cold, some stuff was very fast to trade in/out.. Other stuff, nawt so muach
