so the all fronts collection needs a useable key to be traded but the GOTY edition including the all fronts collection doesnt need the key?

it would be one thing if goozex didnt sell DLC but it does

And the DLC that is tradeable is done by trading Microsoft points or a DLC code which are always ONE TIME USE. you can't trade it back out. GotY comes with a one time use code. Should not be required. the pricing should be fixed

I think I have to agree with G-nitro. Just saying that makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

Changing the rule for any one game, will only lead to more exceptions and less predictability on what is to be expected with a given game trade. The best way to fix this would be to adjust the point value to equal GOW:2's price point and not dump what was a perfectly good standard to apply to all games.

The difference here is that the other codes were included as a bonus, this one is a selling point but I don't want to see us all arguing since it seems most people agree that the point values should be in line with eachother.

Yeah, I don't really have a problem if the G-team can somehow tie the two prices together. I'm more interested in protecting the "DLC isn't required" rule.

It's tough to argue that the DLC for Gears 2 GOTY isn't a selling point, but if that's the standard then it all becomes a slippery slope, because isn't all DLC a selling point?

I think the most logical thing to do here instead of making the Gears of War 2 GOTY edition untradeable or the same price as the regular edition or even having to include the DLC (which was an illogical decision since it's been well established that DLC is not required) is to simply change the GOTY listing to be only the DLC codes (like an XBLA game).That's it, only the codes are traded as the "Game of the Year" edition, the actual game with the manual, case, and disk is traded as the regular edition. If the only thing separating it from the regular edition is the slip cover (which apparently contains the DLC codes on it), then it clearly is no different from the regular edition "once" the DLC codes have been used. Moreover, the different UPC is printed only on the slip cover, the actual game case has the original UPC code of the regular edition. If people did somehow still have the codes unused, and others wanted it simply for the codes, then only the DLC codes (and possibly the slip cover if the seller wanted to ship it or the buyer really wanted it to go with his Gears of War copy) would be traded under this listing. Though I guess if there already exists such listings (trading only the content that was released on XBL beforehand), then you could simply completely delete the Game of the Year listing too.

Renaming the GOTY listing to GOTY (Unused DLC) and moving the alternative to the standard GoW2 listing should fix everything I'd think.  Those two different UPCs, one matching the original, is pretty convincing.

A price fix should make everyone (short of those padding their accounts with the free 300) happy.

its called all fronts collection and it costs 450 points so if its not included GOTY should cost that much less. it really seems like goozex doesnt mind xbla games being on here but DLC is somehow different (which its not, one use codes are one use codes) in this case they are enforcing scamming users who want this game?

XBLA games can be traded (one time) to a user via a prepurchased points card or available game code.  I guess the same could be done with any DLC content available on live, just send a point card, but that would probably be more trouble than it's worth.

it would be and based on the numerous downlable games and DLC pages i've looked though most people seem to feel the same way. for instance fallout 3 the pitt or any of the DLC 200 points (correctly priced) no trades ever, zombie Apocalypse psn downloadable game, although new its priced 9.99 on psn and 900 points on here, suprise suprise no trades ever.

maybe im just venting but i would be sumpremly pissed off if i got the GOTY editon then found no code, then accepted it and decided its ok ill get it through goozex OH WAIT ITS NEVER BEEN DONE!
