The final mission Halo 3 was epic. Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway has a good storyline.

Ryo Hazuki: On a serious note I think you should try a Xbox original called Shenmue 2. That game in my opinion is one of the best games ever made. And in no way is the story sub par. Shenmue 2 is a masterpeice.

Totally agree. Surprised nobody else has mentioned BIA: HH.
I also enjoyed Too Human, but that's probably because I'm a norse mythology geek.
Oh, and also KOTOR for original xbox. Crazy great story.
Well... Halo/s, gears of war/s, mass effect, star wars TFU (which everyone has already mentioned), Fallout 3 is pretty good for me, bioshock, Prototype, Resident Evil 5, and Dead space. Those are just the ones that stick out in my memory as drawing me into the story

to my knowledge it was supposed to be a trilogy that just doesn't look like will ever get the 3rd installment
