i minorly participated, i thought that the length was a little too long for the contest, kind of intimidating
I also participated in the last contest. Length was a little long for me too. I was on vacation for a part of the contest, so I was not activily going for GS. It was good to see alot of participation for the contest from the community.
I enjoyed the competition a lot and hope there will be more. I think the 30-day length is fine, but I know I would never be able to get first place. Also could be because I was one of the lucky few selected to win Batman in this last competition, so I might feel differently if I didn't win. It was fun though.
very well run contest guys i do agree that the 30 days felt a bit excessive... perhaps 2 weeks would be best since the top spots were roughly finalized around then
PM me your email for a Lockerz invite... still have 20 to give out for Z list status):
What about a PS3 trophy competition?? I'm aware that trophies aren't tracked as well as 360's gamerscore and the idea is likely to be shot down.
Just sayin...

You figure out a way to track the trophies reasonably and I would think a lot of people would be interested.
Nice!
I won Batman in the random drawing :3
I shall definitely play again, regardless =D
Thanks Goozex =D

the only way i see this being possible is a stock "GoozexTrophyComp" PSN user created and having every user add this name to their friends list, force everyone to log in by a certain time on the day it begins in order to sync and have someone MANUALLY record the current trophy count and values (bronze, silver, gold, plat)
I played in the last one and it was fun. 30 days is a bit much, and seeing as I've whored most of the easier games out there I will not be able to win a 30 day competition, it is impressive to see the scores that some truely dedicated and now scarred for life people can achieve. I think that mixing the competitions length would be more appealing to people.
I enjoyed the last one, slacked off the last two weeks. I would like to see more of these. I don't think the 30 days was to long but would not mind a shorter one.
I enjoyed participating in the competition. I stated a few of my concerns in the competition thread. I agree that 30 days was a bit too long and that 1-2 weeks would be ideal. I can't imagine having a 30 day contest more than two or three times a year. At least if it is 1 or 2 weeks long, it could probably be more often (every other month?) and would encourage the trade of the high stock, low point, easy gamerscore games (I know I ordered a few). At least if it is limited to a week or so, the people who did not win could still get into another competition without much problem because they haven't amassed too many gamerpoints that would greatly impede upon them winning the next competition.
The length of time is a good point and the next gamerscore competition won't be that long...2 weeks max.
I'd be nice if you started this around Thanksgiving or Christmas, to give people a chance to play (being in school didn't give me the time or motivation to play for Gamerscore).
I felt the last contest was too long... I actually tried for about the first 3-4 days. then i just kinda of gave up.
