I haven't had "broadcast" TV in years. Netflix helped me watch many full series that I usually end up buying anyway.
The Shield is the best series I have ever seen. I have watched the whole series 3 times. I have never before (and since) have actually been genuinely angry at characters in any other series (not the show itself), especially the last 3 seasons. Triggering that type of emotion, to me, is a testament to a good series. Everyone I know that has watched the 1st episode has been hooked. The camera work is unique and enhances the quality of an otherwise cliche "cop drama" genre.
Battlestar Gallactica is also a great series.

Jerhico was my favorite show of all time next to Band of Brothers (everyone should watch it). Jerhico just seemed so real and could actually happen and full of suspence. Glad someone else likes it too.

From what i seen of this i like it,i got season 2 set to go on the DVR. But 1st must rent season 1 and catch up on it.
Burn Notice - 10 : Great spy show and you can't go wrong with anything featuring Bruce Campbell.
Ghost Hunters - 10 : Paranormal reality show. Guys do some great work in trying to debunk hauntings, and will only accept the possibility of a haunting with recorded evidence. Steer clear of Ghost Hunters International tho. The team is sub-par at best, even if the locations they go to are interesting.
Chuck - 8.5 : An interesting take on the spy/action-comedy genre. Very tech/geeky show and I love the comedy in it.
30 Rock - 9 : This is one of the funniest shows to hit in awhile. Seeing as I usually can't stand Alec Baldwin, he is pure comedy gold on this show.
Reaper - 8 : Very interesting and funny show where a guy helps the Devil track down souls who have escaped from hell. Unfortunately it has been cancelled, but you can get the first 2 seasons on DVD.

I agree with Ghosthunters on being a great show if you like that sort of show which isnt for some people. I try to watch every new episode and the GHI ones even though as G-Nitro stated they arent nearly as good but they are still much better than that crappy Destination Truth show that runs afterwards haha
Judging from your list you would probably enjoy the BBC's Wire in the Blood, some seasons are available for instant viewing.
