Nice Idea. But. I have to disagree. Shipping a console is a pain in the arse. I've shipped a few out I have sold in my time. Theres never a garuntee they will make it safe anywhere. AND. Insurance claims are null if something isn't packaged properly. Plus its like $20.00 to ship a console. If everything is done right the packaging materials will cost you about $15 more as well.
But. If this could be done without scams or shipping problems. It would be great.

Yea let me send out all my beat up old used controllers. get some money from the ones gamestop says are too crappy to trade in, seriously all you'll get trading controllers are worn out sticks, broken buttons squeaky triggers, and broken whammy bars,Cords, Memory cards etc. maybe. but probably not.

You can already do this. Amazon accepts game trade ins, and you can use the proceeds to purchase anything you want that they sell. So you could trade your boxes of ps2, gamecube, and ps1 games to get you_ new elite.
