I just got a game the other day "MotorStorm: Pacific Rift" and it came new so i tiped the guy and gave him his feedback but i opened it today to fine it was a blank cd with this on it "soul calibur self-boot DC" and it had no book how can i have the feedback changed or get my game, i dont get how it was wraped and i got this.

So who can i email to fix this i used alot of points to get this game and i got crap.

P.S i just looked at the users feedback and its good he sends new games out from time to time maybe he got it like this can you re-wrap games?

Write feedback@goozex and explain the situation.  You might want to include pictures of the disc, and of the wrapping it came in.  (was it factory wrapped, or just shrinkwrapped, etc)

Be patient, as they won't even read your email until monday. 

Be understanding if they're skeptical, because from an outside standpoint it seems much more likely that you switched the disc, if by your own admission it came brand new and sealed, and you tipped, saying the condition was so good it was worth more.

Sounds like he does rewrap games, which is easy to do if you work at a place that has a shrink wrap system or own one yourself.  If what you say is true though, sounds like he accidently put a pirated dreamcast game in there.

Well can i do i just want this game i mean it was not the same kind of wrap games come in all the time new so i think he wraped it him self but the case looks great it just has the wrong disc and no book.

Well if it was just shrinkwrapped, and not factory sealed, it's not new.  In the future, do yourself a favor and be sure to check every game.

For the time being, when I say to write feedback@goozex, I mean in your email.  The address you will be sending it to is feedback@goozex.com  Include all the details of the trade and tell them exactly what happened.

update this is what the guy said in a PM

"Hey man. I seriously don’t know what you’re trying to pull here, but I sent you a brand new/sealed game that I purchased from Target recently. Not only did I purchase the copy I sent you, I purchased 2 additional copies. I kept one for myself (which is fine and not a bootleg—as you’re claiming) and I actually traded another copy to a guy in Washington which went smoothly. I seriously don’t know what’s going on or what you’re trying to pull, but the package weighed about 5.7-5.8 ounces when packaged completely which is impossible unless you have manual/booklet that came along. So yeah, you can e-mail Goozex and try to pull this stuff on me, but I’ll be e-mailing them too and letting them know what’s going on. Now i did see at target they had this game for sale so i could see how someone would sale it back to goozex to make some points but i just want my game and the book the thing comes with for being full,On a side note from the looks of it if he says this to be true then he may have got a copy at the store some one opened and took the stuff out of and wraped it back up and gave it back to the store to get there money back.

so what do you guys think i just want my game, P.S i just looked at the guys account and i am the only one who has got this game from him who is this guy from washington then i think he is lieing.

Yeah, pics.  Also pics of the wrapping if you still got it too.  You can usually tell by looking at it and feeling it if its cheap resealed wrap or retail version.

Ya i can't find the wrap i am moving so i don't know where it is but it did feel cheap not like the other new games i get i will post i vid link up when its done.

Hey Pvt rain. I actually came here on these forums to ask for help on the same exact situation.. but looks like you started a thread already.

For those who are reading, I'm the guy the OP is claiming sent him a brand new/sealed game that 1. Didn't include MotorStorm: PR but instead some bootlegged CD and 2. Did not include a manual.

Now I'm here to ask what I should do.

It looks like the OP is a more reputable Goozex user than me (based on his numbers) and he's been here a bit longer than I have. I only have 11 trade outs (1 more is pending to make it 12) and 15 trade ins. I'm not sure how this process works, or how Goozex handles these disputes, but I feel that it's pretty much a coin toss.

The OP claims that I sent him a completely fake package.. but it's something that I cannot believe. This is because I've sent out two copies of the same exact game using similar bubble mailers and they both came out to about 5.6-5.8 ounces shipped. If I did not include a manual for the MotorStorm: PR, the package should not have weighed so much and I would have already been suspicious. Secondly, I purchased 3 copies of MotorStorm: PR for $15 each at Target at their clearance rack. I sent two copies out for a trade over the internet (one here on Goozex, and the second via CAG trading forums). I do not have a problem with the copy I kept and the other guy from CAG has not mentioned anything either. Thirdly.. you already left me a positive feedback and also included a tip. I thought that was really nice of you and I really don't understand why you would pull something like this. I'm not trying to call you a complete liar because something real could have happened (the game could have been tampered with).. but come on, I purchased it directly from Target (with the receipt to prove it) and it was in a security/anti-theft box. I've purchased a butt load of games from Target and I've never had a problem with them at all.. let alone what you're claiming.

So yeah, you could have easily just opened up the game as soon as you received and if you had this problem, I would have been more inclined to believe you. But come on.. 2-3 days later and I receive some random PM in my inbox demanding a game which I already sent and threatening to contact Goozex and have "-250 feedback points removed, that sounds shady as hell. That video you sent me, you just have the copy of MotorStorm: PR and you just opened it and showed some bootlegged game. You could have easily just swapped out the discs. You don't even have the shrink wrap it came with or the bubble mailer. Things just don't add up man. I'm really sorry if you just got really unlucky and what you're claiming is true.. but seriously, things don't add up.

About half the games I sent out on Goozex were sealed games from Target or Amazon. I have yet to have a single person complain about what you're saying. I seriously feel like you're trying to scam me out of some points for god knows why. Yeah, I may be a new user, but I don't understand why it would make sense for someone with a pretty good track record sitting on 3000+ points to risk sending you a fake game. I've done about 12 other trades since the beginning of August without a middle man and they've all gone through fine.. I just can't believe something like this is happening with not even a warning.. just out if the blue.

So yeah, I've e-mail Goozex too. I can have a picture sent to them (I take pictures of all the games I send out), I can have a Target receipt scanned in, I can take a picture of my copy from Target and I could ask the other guy I traded with to hopefully vouch for me. Unluckily for me, I am home from college and I will not be returning until the 22nd so hopefully Goozex gives me some time to turn in all my side of the evidence.

What does everyone else think?

I've heard from a friend who bought a new game from Wal-Mart that it was a blank CD-ROM disc once he got home and opened it. This could be the case here, but only with Target. The best solution I can see happening is trade canceled, you get the game back with bootlegged disc, and you can return to Target for your money back. That might be difficult to happen seeing as how a positive feedback has already been left, but I don't know. It could be that both users are not in the wrong, so what's with the pointing fingers?
