Pretty sure N4G had something to do with it, the 100 points and 1 trade token free when you signed up. Used it for BF1942 and thought I was never gonna come back, but here I am.

I learned about this site through a forum on another trading site I use. It was either paperbackswap or swapadvd. Either way, the thread was discussing the possibility of an additional game trading site. With no word about any progress towards the gaming site, someone mentioned goozex as a good game trading site. I was skeptical at first because I thought the guy was just posting to get referrals (he even posted more than once), but then I ordered my first game and found out that this site is actually really awesome.

Someone mentioned it on Gametz when Goozex was first starting, then I waited a few months to make sure that it'd stay around before I joined.

A goozer, DeadlyFishy, posted a thread about Goozex on the trueachievements.com forums. I just happened to come across it, googled Goozex, and after a couple weeks debating and getting screwed over at Gamestop, I decided to just take a chance...soooo glad I did!

Read about it in PC Gamer, but at the time the site was only open to US traders so I kind of forgot about it.

Then late in 2007, someone on another messageboard mentioned the site and I decided to check it out again. Much to my delight, they had expanded the trading regions.
