We have all 3 current gen consoles. I play my ps3 easily 99% of the time. The rest I play the 360. That's probably mostly because I'm still mad at microsoft.
The wii gets the most use in our house, but neither my wife, nor myself, ever play it. It's just the kids who play it non stop.
Between blu rays and games, with all the functionality of the ps3, I use it much more than I ever did the 360, when I was a devout xbox player.
You'll be happy with a ps3, you'll be happy with a 360. Personally, I'm happier with a ps3 than I was with a 360, though.
No. There are a huge waste of money. You have an Xbox, which means you already have everything worth playing on the PS3 available to you. Buy yourself a hooker instead.
WPNofCHOICE:I have a 360. I'm really wanting to play Killzone, Resistance, LittleBigPlanet, etc.
Pssf, LBP is worth it alone. If you're saying its a horrible game, then your priorities are way out of whack.
Uncharted was an awesome game, and Uncharted 2 is coming out soon. Killzone 2 is quite decent.
Also, you're getting a bluray player. And I frequently use mine as a PS1 to play old games, since I never had one.
PS3 is well worth it, especially if you'd consider PS1 games and blu ray movies.

I loved the crap out of uncharted. I normally hate games like it too. But the acting was top notch and I can't wait for 2.
I think there are enough exclusives on the PS3 to warrant a purchase for a 360 owner. I also believe there are enough 360 exclusives to warrant a PS3 owner buying a 360.
I have 2 PS3's, 3 360's and 1 Wii. I enjoy them all for what they have to offer. IMO the exclusives alone are worth it.

Really? Huh, who would have guessed...
WPNofCHOICE:I've heard of overheating issues and the PS Network doesn't exactly come close to being awesome like LIVE does.
Overheating is for fools who can't plug their PS3 in the correct way and for Sony for allowing it to be plugged in incorrectly.
I'm not sure the PSN has that many exclusives I'd buy compared to XBLA. I also prefer the ease of setting up games on XBL. There are other factors that make XBL > PSN, but PSN is acceptable mainly because it is free. Is there room for improvement? Absolutely, but I don't see Sony doing anything about it.

PSN is pretty horrible, and I hate having to install games and demos. But for some reason I haven't felt like powering up my 360 since I got my ps3.
Admittedly the free PSN service is the only flaw I see with the PS3. It can be quite a hassle at times to get a game organized, and since a mic wasn't included, chat is minimal (a blessing or flaw depending).
Still, at 300 bones, even if you just use it as a glorified BR player with the occasional game session, it's money well spent to me.

Yeah Im waiting on it to run out. My rock band DLC misses me.
thguy123: Personally if you buy the 360 or the PS3 you can't go wrong. But, if you own a 360 and buy a ps3 or vice versa. Then you have an issue. The exclusives are just about equal, with the edge on the 360 just a tad. The main issue is you'd be buying the PS3 for just exclusives, considering there is only 5-6 good ones worth buying it's a waste of 300 dollars. My suggestion, buy one consoles, enjoy the multiplats, enjoy the exlcusives, you have plenty to enjoy.

Well with Killzone, Resistance, LittleBigPlanet i have played those games a hell of alot more then halo 3 and gears 1 and 2 i played MGS 4 more then gears i think its just based on what games you played.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every moment of it.

I got a PS3 slim last week and I am doing the same thing. But when I pick up Beatles Rock Band later this week, my 360 will love me again.
