I recently sent out a bunch of games and DVDs using the Goozex prepaid shipping label option for the first time. All of them arrived fine except for one, which was last seen at the sort facility near me over a week ago. A few calls to the post office revealed that it had been sent to College Park, Maryland, the home of Goozex. My guess is that since I just put bubble wrap in regular envelopes rather than using pre-made padded envelopes, the package weighed a bit more than Goozexs had estimated and the postage ended up being insufficient.
My question is, what happens now? I've never had a game get lost or returned before. I really want to get the game to the buyer and I would happily pay to have it shipped from Goozex if that is possible. But I've never been in this situation before and I don't really know the procedures.
You should notify the buyer and tell them what happened. Have them give you negative feedback so they get there points and credit back. Then send a message to goozex and explain them the issue and give them your username and the trade details. They'll probably charge you in trade credits how much it will be to get the game to the buyer then in which the feedback can be reversed through a dispute.
Pm me your email addy for Lockerz invite have 9 left redemption coming soon
I say contact Goozex and ask them to send it back to you, I guess. I'm not really sure how to deal with insuffecient postage, but only one person has replied so far, so I might as well try to help.
MY TACO IS BIGGER THAN YOURS!!!!!
I would contact the buyer and confirm his address is the same as the one you sent it too. Their are so many people moving in and out of apartments this week. It could be a case of someone forgetting to change their address with Goozex.
I'm the buyer, and Demon did a great job of keeping tabs on the situation and keeping me updated.
I don't think this happens too often, but I'm sure the G-Squad has a plan of how to handle it.

I thought that if it was a question of unpaid postage then you would have received a note from the post office telling you that you could pay and pick up at the local post office.
Under normal circumstance, that may have happened. But since it was Goozex's address listed as the return address and not mine, I don't think they had any way of contacting me.
No, it is usually the receiver who is asked to pay. It is one of the reasons for giving neutral feedback.
Hmmm. There does not seem to be much consensus about what happens in this situation or what to do about it. I sent an e-mail to Goozex asking for their help, so I'll let you know what they have to say.
I've received from both delivery confirmation and my very patient buyer that the game finally arrived, though Goozex still hasn't responded and I have no clue how it happened. I'm glad the situation is finally resolved, but I can't offer any advice on what to do if you find yourself with a similar problem. I have, however, started putting my own return address on games and DVDs I send out instead of Goozex's. At least then I know it'll get back to me if there's a problem.
