i just shipped my gh2 box and the entire thing to ship across 1 time zone was 33 DOLLARS!!!!!

I mean, did you go priority mail, and put the already large GH box in another box, making it even larger? Wrapping the GH 2 box in brown paper and writing the address on it really shouldn't have cost more than $15, after buying delivery confirmation as well.

its a place thats open longer than the post office that i ship from. i guess its just in my town.

i had to but another box to put the box in i was not aware that i could wrap it in paper.
Ok, wrote that before you explained what happened.
Those sorts of places, like the UPS store, and Fed-Ex/Kinkos, charge you handling fees, packing fees, preparation fees, and all sorts of fees, in addition to the postage. That's what sounds like happened to you.
Next time, if you have to send something big, pack it yourself before you go, and yes, take it straight to the post office yourself. The line may be longer, but when you're paying more than double for the convenience of those mail stores, it just doesn't seem worth it.
That seems like a lot. I shipped out Guitar Hero Aerosmith full bundle via UPS ground for $12.90 back in march. Even with the cost of the cardboard box and them packing it, (I used the UPS store) it cost less than $21 total.

For 33 dollars you could of just bought the points or game your getting for the points yourself lol.
I notice those places like to jack the price up though unless you have a reason for it to be cheaper. I was being charged over 20 bucks for a GH thing but i recieved the same package for 12 bucks, i showed them and said "how is this possible" and they changed it.
