"most popular" where?
I think that 360 is the most popular (ie: most traded) on this website, but could be wrong.
I think that Wii is most popular for non-gamers, and least popular at most online websites.
I think that PS3 is most popular with gadget and/or hi-def movie lovers.
All of that said, I don't really care what is "popular" nearly as much as what I find to be fun.

Wii
Amirr: Wii
No shock there360 sits at the top of my list, followed by Wii then PS3.
Cat in the walllll
I play PS3 and 360 fairly equally, though lately the PS3 more due to online gaming and a couple of exclusives I wanted to get through before the new releases hit at the end of the year. Not to mention playing a couple of old PS and PS2 RPGs I never got around to playing before.

What's hot in Games Consoles? Find out which products are attracting the most attention this month
Sony's PlayStation 3 may be the most expensive next-gen console, and its library of exclusive games isn't very impressive, but its swanky design and bevy of features, including a Blu-ray drive, make it hard to resist
While it's neither a must-have upgrade for existing 360 owners nor as feature-packed as the PS3, the Xbox 360 Elite's combination of top-notch gaming and digital media features make it the current game console of choice
Nintendo's Wii MotionPlus definitely provides some impressive moments in certain games, but we wish it were incorporated in the actual Wii remote
The Nintendo DSi is great if you're looking for a new handheld games console, but there's very little point buying one if you already own a DS Lite. It's merely mediocre as an audio player, its VGA cameras are poor and under-utilised, and its battery life is significantly lower than its predecessor's
The PSP elevates portable gaming to the next level, but its multimedia functionality falls short of its full potential
Sony's PlayStation 3 may be the most expensive next-gen console, and its launch titles aren't very impressive, but its swanky design and bevy of features, including a Blu-ray drive, make it hard to resist
While it's missing a couple of potentially important features at launch, the Xbox 360 delivers the power and performance of a high-end gaming PC, including impressive digital media and networking features
With plenty of power under the hood and a stellar list of games, Microsoft's first games console has been a considerable success. It offers gamers something unique, with the best online infrastructure and a hard drive for downloading new content, and it usually offers the best ports of the multiformat titles
While it costs more than it should, the DualShock 3 adds the rumble support that should've been present in the PS3 from the beginning
It lacks the graphical prowess and rich media features of the Xbox 360 and the PS3, but the Nintendo Wii's combination of motion-sensitive controllers and emphasis on gameplay make the ultra-affordable console compelling
PS3, DS, Wii/PC
