If you're talking about the shortcut, I managed to use it once. Forgot the first lap about it, then managed to do it, then was going to fast to actually do take the shortcut properly.
I believe you came in last on luigi, which with the shortcut should never happen, tho luigi is the most luck based board
it only matters about the shortcut on the 3rd lap, and maybe the 2nd, but you don't really want to be in first or 2nd early, b/c you will never get a mushroom/star/ 3 mushrooms/ golden mushroom/ bullet in order to cut across. Luigi is the only one where I deliberately hang back so I can get the good items. I find that if you try to get in first right away, you get hit back to near the end anyway, so now I do that as well, see how it works out. a lot of it is playing the tracks a lot, you get better vehicles, get to know your vehicle better, and most importantly know the tracks by heart, then they hit you with mirror all the time, and you're back to square one - that's what did me in with GBA castle 3 - stupid mirror courses.

Huh...thought I replied to this last week. Oops. Oddly enough, I was in the lead of luigi for the first lap, then fell behind during lap 2 and came in very last at the end. Strange....

sorry guys don't feel like playing hockey tonight. I erased my team anyway, for more 2K server snafu fun , so someone else will have to create a team for Team up.

With only 2 (or 3) of us, NHL may not be the best thing (as in I suck so much, I usually end up watching the computer play itself most of the time). I'm down for other games if you're interested. We can also see if tks has any thoughts if he comes in a bit...

Unless I'm mistaken, we picked Tuesday because it didn't conflict with 360 nights, but the 360 guys (I'm looking at you IWX and Duddy07) don't show up too often... Okay, some was "stuck" in Tahoe, but still...
Also, maybe we should slim down our game line-up? I recommend we stick with:
COD: MW Reflex, MK, SSBB, Excitebots and NHL2K10.
Exverytime we try a Conduit Night, we get 2 max. Also, W@W just doesn't compare to Reflex... MoH2 is long gone...
What do you guys think? Am I missing anything?
That sounds cool. I already ditched The Conduit when the points started to go down, and frankly I wasn't too excited by it in the first place. If we're going to change the day, just don't let it be Monday or Friday, unless we decide to start earlier.
