It's only a steep learning curve for the motion controls, classic controller probably works like every other hockey game ever made. we're talking a week or two to really start winning games, and this is all on Rookie difficulty setting also, btw, there are 4 levels, R, Pro, ALl-Star, Hall of Fame I think. I might be ready to boost to Pro now after about 2 weeks of having the game. not sure how much better the computer will get. tourny will be rookie setting, not that it would affect much when playing real people, maybe the automatic goalie settings. I'm not sure when we'll get 8 people to start anyway. Any idea what team you might want to be? I can let you know what their rank is.

We usually dont get anyone to play on fridays, its typically me and Kai, so whatever we want to play we can play. A little practice never hurt anyone.
I need to practice Reflex most, but I've been playing a game of hockey a day for a while now, with 2 upcoming tournaments. plus i really like this game, now, it's worth the climb up the learning curve, there's still a hell of a lot to fine tune, or you can just leave it alone and play as is if you don't want to bother. apparently we can't upload video footage from our games to the 2K site with Wii, I was looking forward to that.
I lost an online match tonight practice 5-2 that hurt a little bit.

at least at Hockey I have a reasonable chance of beating you, 60/40, maybe 50/50 by now, hope we both advance in the wii mod cup 2 where we have to play each other.

Good to see I'm getting the respect I deserve. Doesn't seem like the voodoo has worked yet, though I'm hoping it's raining video games one of these days.

Excitebots was pretty fun. It may have slightly helped that I practiced for about an hour beforehand, but I'm sure not by much. It did get kind of boring towards the end when the same stage kept being chosen (Bronze Cup: China) when people put a Random Excite match.
Also, I'd like to note that I finally learned how to play poker thanks to this game, and especially thanks to tkszeto since he totally beat everyone in the first round we played a Poker Race and I happened to notice what cards he was getting.
