I"m a waiting on this. I enjoyed Pitch Black, and I heard the Director's Cut was a lot better than the theatrical version.

I picked this up at a pawn shop for a dollar.  I certainly can't complain, for the price.  I enjoyed it more, watching it again recently, than I did when I originally watched it when it first released.  It's still not a fantastic movie, and reminds me too much of Conan in space, except it's Vin Diesel instead of Arnold, but it's better than I remember.  At the low price point you're picking it up here for, it's probably worth it. 

It's in no way as good as Pitch Black though.
