I'm just about to send out Shenmue II and was going to throw in Max Payne 1 and 2, but I can't find the first game. If I can't find it I'll just throw in Morrowind and tell the person I'm trading with that I'm sorry. Sad

I've sent out 2 brand new/sealed games out of the 5 games I've sent out so far. Received nothing from those users, no comment, tip, or anything.. just the positive. Only received one comment out of the 5 trades I've done.

To be honest, I probably wouldn't mind throwing in a few games here and there if people were more appreciative. I leave a detailed comment for every person who has sent me a game. Takes like ONE minute. Jeez!

You got your points, you got your positive, what more do you want? Complaining about not getting anything more than you were promised, and honestly, deserve, is kind of stupid isn't it? I send out sealed product all the time. If I receive a sealed item, I certainly will comment on it, but I do not, nor will I comment on every transaction. A tip, is just that, a tip. Don't expect it. You won't get many. It's always nice when you do, but I've only gotten 7 out of 86 trades, and almost everything I send out is either sealed or like new. The only things that aren't are things that I've gotten from other people in less than stellar condition. I personally only comment if there is a reason to. Getting what you ordered is not a reason to. That is expected.

I comment on everything I receive. It doesn't take long and I think it's appreciated by most people. I personally get a little boost when someone leaves a nice comment in their feedback. To quote George Costanza, "We're living in a society here!" I have and will always leave tips for sealed games.

Why be such a douche when responding, leaving a comment or going as far as leaving a tip is the least someone can do for receiving brand new games; on a used game trading site.   I for one leave a comment every time, it helps people know how the trader works, I always enjoy the more social ones than the ones that barely communicate and act like I'm killing them.  I see no good reason not to take 2 minutes and leave a comment, since the person is obviously on here if they are expecting to be an active trader.

Occasionally I'll throw in another game (usually one that isn't listed on the site) for free. I've done so with guidebooks too, but that tends to cost a little more shipping-wise.

I have traded with RockMuncher and got an extra Hentai game with Divi-Dead. :)

I will be giving away my PAL copy of Call of Duty 3 with a future game I trade out once I beat it.

I donate them to different places depending on the game.

If it's rated T or less, I donate it to the local children's hospital. That's what I did with Rock Band, when Gamestop had their crazy GHWT deal and I upgraded.

If it's rated M, I'll send it to one of the various games for soldiers programs. I'm never sure if soldiers like military shooter games, or if they'd prefer a bit of escapism. Either way, I figure they'll get more use than me, or some other non military person.

If I'm lazy and/or short of time I'll donate them to Salvation Army or Goodwill.

i think his point was he'd be more inclined to throw ina free bonus with his trades if he felt recipients were more appreciative of that type of stuff, but that so far in his experience most of them cant be bothered to even say "thank you" in a comment, so he's less inclined to go out of his way to do something extra for them. NO a comment or tip is not required, but it's somethign extra the recipient does for the seller.  If he saw they were doign something extra, he'd be more inclined to do something extra too.

You also got a couple free DVDs with the 4 James Bond DVD sets I just sent you. Cool

I just recently adopted this kind of thinking, both for the sake of surprising the other trader with something unexpected and clearing out a few of my extras.

Sent out my copy of Transformers: RotF with an old micromaster Transformer I had from the 80s.  I'm now sending out The Prestige on Blu-Ray to a trader overseas in the military and including discs 2 &3 of Chappelle Show Season 2 - both from a partial set missing the first disc.

Haven't sent out any extra games yet, but I have a small stack of disc only games that i'll probably bundle in with future trades.

Yeah. I'd be all down for stronger Goozex community.. you know, getting a bonus game with each transaction, EVERYONE getting tips and what not. You know, everyone gets a little more out of each transaction. I think it's kind of lame when people can't even leave a single comment. I've PMed almost every person I've sent games out to, to let them know what's up, and I don't even get any replies back. Not trying to be a bitch here, but.. I'M GOING TO GO EAT NOW. Brb.

I havent done it on Goozex but i gave away my 87 game library for my PS2 for free when my PS3 library started getting better. Some family got PS2's so i took my games said take what you want, whatever was left i just gave to my brother and he loved it.

Those saying the Amazon trade in thing, i didnt like it. They can make an excuse for anything and not accept your trade, just waste your time. I found another trade in site called Gamestaq, ive used them a couple times to get games and its a really great service, let alone their trade ins are amazing prices.

I have traded out a sealed game, brand new. The person loved it, commented me, gave me positive feedback, and even got a tip. Feels good when you make someone happy and if i get the chance to send out a sealed game again ill do it within a heatbeat. As for adding in a free game or something, ive actually been  trying to think of ways to add a "bonus" and i still have some PS2 games laying around, maybe ill throw in a comic or something too.
