I have 6500 points, I really NEED to spend them. I want a good action movie, great storyline to it and just plain fun to watch. The only idea I have is The Dark Night. I would perfer a movie between 100-250 points. I'm out of ideas and need suggestions thanks!

EDIT: I use the term "action movie" quite vaguely, I like movies like "the prestige" and I would consider that "action" whereas most people do not.

Battle Royale

Seconded! SO GOOD!

I'll just pull some of my list (that might fit what you're looking for)  from the other thread I started if you don't mind... (and a few extra for good measure, some might be obvious but you never know)

  • Kill Bill 1/2
  • No Country for Old Men
  • The Lord of the Rings: Trilogy
  • Children of Men
  • Let the Right One In
  • The Host
  • Memento
  • Shaun of the Dead (oohh and Hot Fuzz!)
  • The Matrix
  • Apocalypse Now
  • The Departed
  • Aliens
  • Sin City
  • Blade Runner
  • Die Hard
  • Bourne Trilogy
  • Desperado
  • The Killer

Highlighted Bourne because I can't believe no one has said that yet - they're some of the best action movies to come out in recent years.

Ever see The Good The Bad And The Ugly?  If you've never seen a Spaghetti Western before, start with that!

I'm more of an older movie fan though, so if you're looking for newer action movies, I'm not going to be much help.
Sad

[Edit] - Oh, No Country For Old Men is quite excellent.  It's pretty "talky", but from what you said that may not be a problem.

The Dark Knight

I said that as a movie I was thinking about so I would get answers that were not "Dark Knight."

.......

I wish I would get more replies as I do not like spaghetti westerns.

Commando is pure badassery.

Die Hard is Die Hard for f***'s sake. If you haven't seen it, watch it straight away.

Hard Boiled as some of the most amazing gunplay I've ever seen.

Lethal Weapon is one of the best Buddy cop movies.

Most of the one's Duddy said are fantastic.

EDIT: TAKEN.

Die Hard is epic...all of them.

Then, get yourself some Rambo...all of them again.

Don't watch them at the same time if you're wearing nice pants though.

All above are excellent, especially, Predator, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon.

I'd like to add

The Terminator

Broken Arrow

U.S. Marshals

Men in Black

The Rock

Scarface

Braveheart

Pulp Fiction

The Fifth Element

(And a couple modern westerns, since I love them)

Tombstone

Young Guns 1 and 2

Think I included a nice blend of Action-Comedy, Action-Drama, Action-Action
